The food is great, but that's obvious because they couldn't have stuck around downtown this long if it wasn't. What is better than the food tho is the setting. Very cool inside! If you get to sit upstairs you get some nice views of 6th St. Personally this was pretty great for my wife and I. We got to watch the snowfall in December while eating great food in a great atmosphere. Couldn't have asked for more during Christmas!
I fell for it, the reviews were good and I have been desperate to satisfy a never ending craving for good tacos/Mexican food since moving out of Arizonasadly, this place didn't come even close. It's simply not good food on all accounts. Their margaritas are way too sweet as well, in my opinion (I am likely to be overruled by many on that one)..anyway, service was good, the space is cool. Just don't expect to be impressed with the foodunless you're standards are low.
The food and drinks here are delicious. Quick service at lunch, a little slow at dinner (usually because they are busy). Everything tastes fresh and the sweet chili fries are BURSTING with flavor. Love their chips too.
Just had one of the best Mexican meals ever. I had the shrimp corn tamales meal. Wow, what deliciousness. Shrimp was tender, corn cheese thing was excellent with enough heat and sweetness. The tamales was seasoned perfect. Becca was a wonderful waitress. Very easy going, personable, and well knowledgeable of the menu. Definitely will be going back.
I have no real complaints about this place. I don't think the food is quite worth the money. The tacos are good but not much better than some other local places (like Bakersfield). I ate here before a show at the Arnoff and was satisfied. Waiter even made sure to give us our checks quickly because we were cutting it close on making the show.
I really enjoyed the art and atmosphere but the food is over rated. The high priced microscopic portions really turned me off. Fancy names for greek yogurt and beefsteak tomatoe sauce was just a parfait cup of hamster food. Save your money people! If want authentic Mexican food just Google it. They have many more places downtown. Skip Nada cause it's Nada good choice.
Being from Phoenix, this upscale restaurant has tapas down. I don't think I could give an objective review because I can get the same food from a taco truck in AZ. Unbelievably expensive and as far as Southwestern cuisine goes. But for Cincinnati, Midwestern palates, I see the draw. . The decor is bright and fun. Lots of happy faces
The food is really amazing. The braised beef short rib tacos are my favorite. The avocado taco is so good too. I asked for a mango margarita even though it wasn't on the menu and they were able to accommodate me. Plus it was delicious.
Perfect experience. Food was amazing! Cocktails were delicious. Overwhelmed by the customer service. And our server Rachel was a dream! We will be back
This restaurant was a delightful twist on the Mexican flair. The queso dip was so yummy and the salsa and chips was a cut above the usual. The staff was very friendly and our waiter was top notch. He even presented us with a note card of things to do while visiting the Queen City. We will definitely plan on a patio dinner the next time we are in town.
Great atmosphere and location. Consistent menu with plenty of options. For it's genre, a little pricey for weekly or biweekly visits and not authentic 'Mexican' by any means but food is good.
Nada is a thoroughly well conceived restaurant, from the art glass lamps to the decoration of the plate. The concept of street tacos has been elevated through mastery of technique and balance of ingredients.everything has a purpose. The location is ideal; on 6th street near businesses, theater, and just blocks away from the exploding Over the Rhine district. Stop in for a nice lunch to do your research and then come back with family and friends for dinner or on the weekend to really slow down and enjoy a cocktail.
The Chips and Salsa was fresh made, warm, and very good. I hated that I was charged for them. Offered to me without stating they weren't free. The Chicken Tacos (2) and Cowboy Beans tastes great, but pricey at $15. Splurged and got some banana cream gelato, but $6 for 2 scoops was ridiculous. The bartender, Rachael, was friendly and helpful. Bottom line, great food, friendly staff, but be prepared to pay.
Beautiful setting in a historic building. Be sure to ask the server about fascinating stories of the dining room area. The food is beyond amazing.the chef genius! The atmosphere is friendly, but romantic, quiet yet inviting of conversation, it is an amazing, wonderful place to dine with the best in food and service!
