Great place to stay! I stayed for two weeks and it is very nice there! The receptionist Marcel should be a comedian funny guy! One thing I was very surprised about and pleased with is they have a vending machine with essential items you may have forgot like Q-tips, Toothpaste, Shaving cream, really good place.

Spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen which is open 24/7. Nice common area, has a TV with Netflix, free computer room. Has free tea and coffee. Also has a games room and books to borrow. If I ever come back to New York I'd definitely stay here again.

The staff here are awesome! Loved my stay, would do it again in a heartbeat. Met some awesome other travelers and ended up going out on the town that night with them. The street art inside was awesome, and so close to the Bushwick collective! And, even on street parking. I know.

Rooms were big with ensuite washrooms and beds were pretty comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The place unfortunately has no atmosphere though (not very social). I liked how the location was less than 5 minutes from the subway station (Montrose) but there was some sort of yard across the street and every morning at 6 AM there would be loud trucks making a lot of noise. Didn’t sleep well all 3 nights I was here.

Nice large rooms. Able to store food in a fridge is nice. Private bathroom to the rooms is awesome. Everything was real clean and no bedbugs.

The best deal in NYC--or anywhere else, for that matter! Rooms are clean and beautiful, common areas are plush and comfy, kitchen is huge and well-equipped, computer room is open all hours, and building is conveniently located a very short walk to the L Train. Restaurants in the area are plain cheap! Food is great! Staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Good location, close to 2 subway stops, bars/restaurants and shops. Really friendly and useful staff. Big common rooms, kitchen, free tea and coffee (yay). I got upgraded to a better room which was a lovely surprise, and just overall really enjoyed my experience there. Would definitely stay again!

Hard not to give this hostel 5 stars! Plenty of facilities ie. Netflix, vending machines, several fridges, free coffee and so on. Decent location in Brooklyn and staff were all really friendly and helpful.

A little pricey, however a good price for new York. The bed is comfortable and the room is nice. Nice community feel in there with the other guests. The free coffee is a nice touch :D

Fantastic hostel, amazing staff ( special shout out to Kim, for giving amazing advise on what to.visit and how to get around) and clean rooms. Could have better wifi but overall great place to stay

EVERYONE there was SO helpful & friendly. I was very impressed with the place & WOULD DEFINATELY come back! It was CLEAN & each room was spacious & had its own bathroom. I know they were making some 3 bed rooms into 4 beds & 4 bed rooms into more beds also WHEN i LEFT but THAT IS fine! The rooms were big enough to do that!! I miss you all already & can't wait to come back! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!!
