This hotel was my first impression of Brooklyn and I have to say it did well. The room was clean and tidy (as was the bathroom) and the staff were really kind and friendly. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance - it's actually a really nice place to spend a night or two. Or three.
I really enjoyed staying here. The room was lovely, the pricing was good, and everything worked wonderfully. My girlfriend and I loved it, thank you.
I drove pass the hotel even though I had perfect direction to the place, it didn't seem like a hotel. But on entering the lobby I was transformed. The decor is calming. The staff was helpful and the furniture in my room was alluringly chique. I recommend this place. It is also right on the subway line.
This place was nice and clean. Room was a bit small. Easy to get to, provides parking and is right next to a subway stop. Breakfast was good with plenty of selections to chose from.
We stayed overnight at the hotel so we wouldn't have to drive home after seeing a show at the Kings Theater, which is about a twenty minute drive from there. The room was clean and not overly expensive for a room in Brooklyn. Bathroom seemed enormous, relative to the room itself. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Great little hotel for the money. Far cheaper than staying in Manhattan and only a 27 minute subway ride away from 42nd street on the D line. Staff friendly. Beds comfy. Great views from the 10th floor. Rooms slight on the small side (hence 4 stars) but really not a big issue. Still a fantastic little hotel. Stay here!
Our first night we were placed in a c-level (ground floor) room in which we could hear the subway passing all night. We were able to switch rooms the next day and our 9th floor room was much nicer. The continental breakfast was better than expected and most of the staff has been very friendly. This has been a mostly good experience with a rough start.
Let me tell you!!!

I have nothing but great things to say about this place.
Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our visit to Brooklyn an awesome experience.
My wife.my 3 month old girl and I thank you kindly.
Great hotel! Easy location to greet into the city. Staff is amazingly kind and curteous, went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and how to get where we needed. Hotel is unassuming from the outside, but the room was lovely. Very clean and modern. Really one of the best I've stayed in.
Nice, clean hotel with very professional and helpful staff in Brooklyn. Reasonable rates and just a few steps from the R line subway stop. Would definitely stay here again when visiting in NYC!
Location was easy to get to and within walking or driving distance to attractions in the area. Room was clean however the bathroom fan didn't work. Parking at the hotel was suitable and off street.
Worth taking the train to save some money on a room. EXTREMELY close to a train stop making it a great choice. Expect smaller rooms in all hotels in the range. We had a great view of the city as we were on the north side, 10th floor. Good bang for the buck place.
The room was clean, the location was very easy to get to, the breakfast was nice enough for a hotel buffet. There were eggs (a mix it seemed though not fresh eggs so I didn't eat them), lunch meat thinly sliced bacon, sausage, oatmeal, bagels, waffle maker, yogurt, fruit. Not much for someone who doesn't eat carbs or sugar but my mother and daughter liked it okay. I would stay there again. I think the room was great for the price.
Stayed here for 3 nights and we were extremely impressed. Very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast! The subway is literally right on the corner and the hotel is the second building from the corner so it's just feet away. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The only thing was that our room was on the bottom floor and it's underground so it's literally right next to the subway. So you could definitely hear the trains at night, but if you're a heavy sleeper like my husband and I then it won't matter. I'm not sure how the subway affects the upper levels.
Fantastic hotel overall!
