Go to a community college that offers mechanics. Checked on one that also includes basic welding for thousands less and you receive a associates degree on top of the other certifications. This school is way over priced. Instructor told one class that if they wanted hands on experience to get some tools and go down the road to a pull a part junkyard. Also steer clear of CHS housing. 4 people to a apartment, total rent for all 4 was around 1900 a month for ghetto living, complete rip off. Only gave 1 star because 0 was not a option.

i want to be a nascar driver is the place that i need to go i dont wanna work on the car's but i will be happy to learn about them and take courses their tht will get me to be a Professional Nascar driver

Waste of money! Save your money and go to a local tech school. My quoted tuition cost was around 32,000. 6 phases in I owed 25,000. Note there is 16 phases. I noticed my cost for each phase went up every phase change. Instructors are the best part of the school. But why go to a school and pay so much to just get certified to work on cars? Go to a local tech school and do your research. You'll find most have a higher employment after grad rate and a lot less money out of pocket.

Love attending school here couldn't of picked a better place.Great place to study but unfortunately the burger grill place in campus has a very rude cashier working in the mornings. She was on her phone when I came up to order she looked up at me and continued to be on her phone. Was very rude when I was ordering. Then she started yelling at a staff in the back in another language which made me the most angry the way she had no respect even for the staff. Never will I eat there when she is there.

Say what you want about this place but it is building the future for the automotive industry. It's been 10 years since I graduated and it has made me into the technician I am today. as long as you apply yourself you will leave with a great opportunity to have a great Career in the auto industry

Don't waste 50 grand. .this "school" is racist, and I'm white and saying this. . I am not only a computer engineer, I have family who has raced in Nascar, talladega etc. I also have over 10 yrs in auto body repair and painting under my belt,I used to also help a family
member for years, paint vehicles at a large dealership, FOR FUN. I don't need this school, thought it would be cool to put it on a resume as well. NOT! ! I'm a female. .sorry boys, but I trust my 8 vehicles, to a woman over a man. More women need to be in this industry, as men, unfortunately, have assumed women know NOTHING. And did I mention my GPA was a 4.8 if you want good schooling, learn hands on, get your ASE Testing and go for it! My brother had NO college education when he started out painting. He ended up being named top 10, in auto body/custom paint!! You're simply paying, for the "name" of this school!

My son is 18 and has had an interest in cars since he could walk. I was not at all surprised when he told me and my mom he wanted to attend NTI. He applied on-line and his recruiter was so impressed my son's interest interview/ was held on a Sunday evening. We were given a tour and he filled out the application all on the same day. I was very pleased that Justin was very honest with my son and knowledgeable. I have to say my son has excelled beyond even what he thought he was capable of. When instructors come to my job and tell me he is one of the top two in the class and an excellent student I am impressed. My son has dyslexia and traditional school was a struggle but I love his enthusiasm. I don't have what the future holds for him but I see great things. NTI has given him a confidence that he's never had, thank you NTI!!!!

I applied (to refresh my knowledge and prepare to service my car/race local tracks), and was told I wasnt a good fit. I'm a female, aged 50, Master's degree, with 2 years of auto mechanics under my belt (high school), and 10 years of solid garage/body shop/welding repair experience from my youth. Racing is in my blood. I have raced go-karts, cars, motorcycles and boats.
Unfortunately, they only asked for my education level, age and sex so they denied entrance based on at least one of those factors.
I am not giving up on finding a program that is open to anyone who just wants to learn.response / report this review
