Not a bad place to stay. Clean little hotel outside and in. Very friendly staff. Very affordable price. But if your looking for soundproof rooms not for you. Lay your head get some sleep and all the essentials I recommend it. Just outside of town. The Philippi Inn or PI as I call it, has some of the best food around and is 50 yds from the hotel. Highly revommend the PI. Steak and eggs is probably the best I have ever had. You won't be disappointed

It's a little dated. Otherwise, it's neat, clean and quiet.

Not a bad over night stay for a college visit but wouldn't recommended anything longer than that

Clean enough and meets needs. Not many amenities but most people who stay here aren't specifically looking for luxury. Meets expectations. Nice diner next door.

Great, homemade food. Massive portions. But, best of all, the homemade pies are fabulous.

Bring your own towels, if you have to stay. The staff however have been wonderful work with, that is the reason for 4 stars.

This place has bed bugs and act as if the don't know it. I have photos of the bug in the bed after my son was bitten. Smoke free facility, NOT. Rooms smell like smoke and people including employee smokes in front of building as you are walking in. We had to walk through a cloud of smoke. Wash cloths and towels were hard and scraggly. I recommend spending a little more money and driving a bit further to get peace of mind. REMEMBER THIS PLACE HAS BED BUGS!!!!
