The hotel is being closed down and it shows. The pool is closed permanently, the carpets are stained and my room didn't get changed (until the next day when I put a hanger on the door handle). Also the lights were stolen off my bike parked out front overnight.

Clean beds (no bed bugs), service was good, definitely a 3 star hotel maybe a little less. The TVs were flat screens but the few I saw were dim, the HD was maybe 720i, my old tube TV does better. The breakfast was perfect, well done. So all and all for the expensive price, $170, was not worth it.

A bit scummy for my tastes. I booked here because this hotel was the closest to the office for the price and the star ratings were higher than others I browsed. Next time I will drive a little farther for a bit more comfort. The staff is friendly but the place needs a lot of work on the décor. They also need to invest in a really good vacuum cleaner one that gets to the baseboards. I am seeing a border of about 3/4 of an inch along every wall.

Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. The man who checked me in was so creepy I was nervous he’d follow me to my room. The room was large. But the barley and the tile in the bathroom were stained. The fact that my company paid like $500 for me to stay there two nights is a travesty. I get everything in that area is expensive. But I’ve stayed in a red room inn on the side of the highway that was better.

Whatever you do, do not stay in this hotel. I would recommend any Motel 6 over this place.

I flew in for an interview in the area, and had just taken a shower and gotten in bed when I saw multiple bugs crawling around my pillow and sheets. I screamed and immediately called down to the front desk (around 11pm). They gave me a new room and I didn't really have any other choice but to stay. The employee at the front desk was really unapologetic and kept making excuses, saying the manager was not here.

In the morning, the manager did not even apologize, and was honestly pretty insensitive about the entire ordeal. I am personally not fond of bugs in the first place, and the thought of bringing bed bugs home was absolutely horrifying.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay somewhere else. I've read other reviews of people encountering bed bugs at this hotel, so it's not a singular issue! I will be posting this review everywhere I can to make sure people are aware before they book.

We loved it here. The beds were comfy, the staff friendly and the location to the Staples Center, CA Live and Microsoft Theater cannot be beat. I would stay here again without any hesitations. I do agree with other posters that the windows were really dirty and need to be cleaned from the outside.

For a 2-star hotel, it is actually not bad at all! The rooms are nice and clean, has all basic hotel features. Even has a pool and a fitness center. Close to being a 3-star hotel I think. Easy to say that it is much better than classic motels.

The hotel has pretty large rooms. I like to stay here for concerts at the shoreline. It's pretty close and is very nice for how much it costs. The rooms have always been clean, although this trip we only had 2 pillows instead of 4 like hotels typically give.

This was a basic hotel but not bad. It was clean but you could tell it wasn't recently updated by the older style of the building. There was an attached building that appeared to be a former (but closed) restaurant. There was a continental breakfast included. The staff was really friendly.

We booked online and it was the lowest price for the Mountain View area.

Staff was friendly and the check in was easy. The room was spacious but not clean. It needed to be vacuumed and there were only two towels. Parking was great.

STAY AWAY - If I could only give a Negative rating, the WORST hotel experience EVER. I Booked 2 double queen rooms for 6 days, We only received rooms service for one night. I requested adjacent rooms since we have 4 children under 6. When we first arrived, we were given keys to a room that was fully occupied, yes I opened the door and people were staying there. Then were assigned rooms 101 and 308, 101 smelled moldy and was far from 308. Manager promised us room 306 (next to 308) but we had to move our stuff out of 101 first, when we returned that night both rooms were rented out to other people. We only stayed one night and most of it was spent sleeping but it was pretty good. Bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner but overall a nice experience that's priced reasonably.

My stay was pleasant. The room was a king and was larger sized with a nice setup. The fridge and heater were loud. The breakfast was alright which i enjoyed and the staff were happy and nice.

Sorta drab interior. Nothing special. Rooms looked like they were last updated in the 90s. Not a lot of convenient outlets, and WOW the oldest TV I've seen in years. Staff was polite. Location was good. Didn't try the food, but it smelled good.

Room smelled like somebody smoked in the restroom so that really did not bode well. Staff was very hospitable. Free breafast was nice.

At least the bed was clean! I'm not the type to rail against a place when something goes wrong, but Aria has definitely gone downhill. A former Holiday Inn Express, and it's gone downhill based on my recent stay. There were several things broken in my room, and it wasn't fully clean. Cheap shampoo no conditioner, the shower took about 3 minutes to warm up and the shower head wouldn't stay pointing at me, dirty chair and mirror and shower, etc. Several annoying things like that; they just aren't keeping quality up. Go here as a cheap place to spend the night; don't expect it to feel great.

I originally found the Hotel Aria using the app Hotel Tonight. The rate shown by the app was one of the lowest in the area and the customer reviews were generally positive. I called the hotel before reserving with the app and they quoted a price higher than Hotel Tonight. At this point we had a pleasant discussion and were able to negotiate to a price under the one shown on Hotel Tonight and with a room upgrade to a king bed.

As far as the room was concerned, the furnishings were adequate, with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Furniture was reasonably sturdy and utilitarian. I could easily stay in the room for as long as a week without concern.

The front desk had cookies out for guests and the staff was very polite. I visited in late August and encountered hunter spiders (the non web variety of spider) in the stairwell twice and once in my room. So be aware if that's concerning to you.

I would stay here again.
