Very affordable clean all you need for over ight stay right off BLUE Ridge Parkway.

We had been to FL. On the way back to pa. We decided to drop by the wood brothers garage.It was late when we arrived but the lady there Lillian couldn't have been nicer. They even offered us some of thier own food worrying we hadn't eaten.You just don't come across those old time motor courts like that anymore .If you go elseware you made a big mistake.I hope to return and spend some time there next summer.The peaple and the area are beautiful.Also we had a great breakfast with the nicest waitress across the street in the morning.We never even locked our door.slept well with mountain air coming in screen door.Many thanks for good old fashion hospitality from all.

Super close to the Parkway with a nice little dinner across the street. If you are traveling the parkway, this is a very convenient place to stay. Owner is very nice and the prices are far better than you will find at a chain 10 miles away.

Wonderful place nestled in a sweet town just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Staff is kind and helpful; rooms are cozy, comfortable, and well priced. I slept so well and look forward to staying here again.

Room was clean and comfortable at a great price. Internet faster than most chains I stay in. Owner couldn't have been nicer. She even got me some crackers out of her pantry saving me a walk to store across the street when she realized I needed some to go with my dinner.
If you want a big flat screen TV then this is not your hotel. If you want great value and wonderful service it is.response / report this review -

This was the best place ever!! Rooms were very clean, beds were soooo comfortable! Never have been treated so good! Peter went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed even drove us to the store. We had gotten soaked riding in the mountains and Lori did our laundry for us at no additional charge! Cant say enough about this place except if you get the chance, stay at the Mountain Top Motel, you'll never want to stay anywhere else!!

Mountaintop Motel is the perfect stop\stay over in the Fancy Gap area, especially if you are planning drives through the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The owner Peter is a very gracious and an accomadating Host! If you are in need of anything just ask Peter or the Housekeeper Lori and they will make it happen!
There is even a restaurant across the street.
If you are expecting the Ritz, this is not for you. If you need somewhere clean and convenient and affordable, this is your place! Thank you Peter for being so gracious to The Bahama Mamas and their Friend Jim! :)response / report this review -

This was a basic small town motel right off the Blue Ridge Parkway that was clean and comfortable. It is also right across the street from a nice little restaurant that is reasonably priced, good and apparently open most of the time. The best thing about it was the owner, Peter. He is very personable, fun to talk to and he and his assistant went out of their way to see that we had everything we needed. Then my motorcycle battery died. Peter offered tools and assistance to us until we were back on the road. We are forever grateful and will defiantly stay there again if we travel that way. They are the epitome of old fashioned customer service!
