Twenty-five plus years ago I was part of a team doing county school audits in southern West Virginia. We were usually based in Princeton, WV. We never failed to take the team of auditors to Cuz's for dinner every time we were in the area even though it was 115 miles round trip from the Days Inn, Princeton to Cuz's and back. It was, however, always worth the trip. Most of the dozen or so of us would get steaks. They were always big, thick and juicy. Delicious. The art work and sculptures always reminded me of the fanciful fantastic creatures in the movie "Beetlejuice". I love this place! Lot's of great memories with friends and colleagues. I think there is an old ragged Cuz's T-shirt around here someplace.

Very engaging decorations and art work. Food is good. take a moment to walk around the restaurant and admire all the curious pictures and art work. there is a lot to see. It has a dirt parking lot and pleasant views all around. be prepared to do a u-turn since only right turns are allowed when leaving.

Considering the surrounding choices, this is an excellent steakhouse/BBQ. Usually full to capacity, service can be a bit slow at times but that may be our fault for bringing groups of 8-10.

Cuz's restaurant is something that is truly special. The food is absolutely amazing, environment is very friendly, prices are great for the quality and amount of food you get. I highly suggest the Filet Mignon as you will be shocked when they bring it out to the table. So tender you don't even need a knife. Best steak I have ever eaten in my life. Hands down - end of story.

I've been to Cuz's many times from when I was a teenager on into my mid 30s. Each and every time has been an experience worth to trip. Many things have changed but one thing stays the same, amazing food and a quirky fun atmosphere. This go round I needed to pickup an order of 20 cheese egg rolls and three bowls of crab soup. Both I highly recommend you get. I was in town for a funeral and these items were a top priority every time we came with our friend before he passed. I decided to pickup a bunch for after the funeral and they came through in spades. Everyone cheered when they saw me come through the door with them, gave him a celebration in style. Thanks for all the great times Cuz's!

Hands down the best place to eat in Tazewell county. I would recommend this place to anybody. The food is always cooked to order and service is excellent. I have yet to come across another place like it.

Worst meal I've ever had. I asked about the Hong Kong Seafood Basket before I ordered it and was told it was "Grilled shrimp, scallops, crab, and lobster served with different dipping sauces.". NEVER WAS I TOLD it was a STIR FRY with mixed vegetables or dripping in a stir fry sauce. Tasted horrible. Tried to send it back and was going to order something different but was met with the comment "there is a difference in it not being prepared correctly and me just not liking it" and I explained that I even asked what it was before I ordered it and it was not what was described to me. Basically, I was met with a tough luck attitude until I said I was going to post this on Facebook. Then they started out with offering me half off the price, for an entree that I MAYBE had 3 bites of. Ridiculous CUSTOMER SERVICE! And one other suggestion, if you aren't going to add a description of the entree on the menu, make sure the server describes it properly when asked to prevent this scenario again. The server was nice, but it was the manager that was RUDE.

Nothing else like it! The steaks and seafood are excellent and the variety in the menu makes me want to come back time and again. Finally adding some craft beer Love this place and hope the fire stays away!
