  This is a must do in Palm Springs area. The tram goes straight up and offers some spectacular views going up (or down). You go from desert to pines in a short time.
  On the top there are restaurants, visitor center and some nice short hikes with good views from the top of the mountains. Get a jacket because it does get much colder than the desert below.

  Such a wonderful place to enjoy nature. The views on the tramway are astounding.
