Its a one star lodging what would you expect. Location is great to downtown, however the towels are rougher than sandpaper thank god the place had good hot water pressure to shower. The air conditioner is so so. controls are simple however you’ll feel cold and clammy if you don’t click on the exhaust fan. I won’t consider motel 6 unless it’s under extreme circumstances in the future

Rooms are small. Shower only had one temperature: hot. Sink drained extremely slowly. Room will not be cleaned unless you request it at the front desk, which is annoying. You will have to ask for your own towels. On the other hand, front desk staff are so nice. Yes there are people living in tents on the streets nearby; welcome to capitalism.

Customer service was good! The room itself was very very small, not a big deal but I felt like I was in NYC. Free parking was awesome, every hotel nearby charges for parking. The AC unit temperature could be updated. You can’t put how many degrees you want the room to be. It’s just hot and cold, kind of weird. Bathroom could be cleaner but it’s a motel 6, I wasn’t expecting a luxury stay. For a one night stay it was okay! Wouldn’t mind staying here again. Good location too.

Nice size bed for one or two. No room for guests. No washcloths. No complimentary toiletries other than bar of soap. Nice lighting. Small bathroom with big shower..
Nice modern building and location overall. I feel 80.00-90.00USD after taxes would be fair for these amenities at this Motel 6.response / report this review -

This is a very nice motel for the price and the room is comfortable. I traveled across the southern United States and this is the best for the price that I could find. By no means 5 star but not as shabby as other places. Short walk to Little Italy which I recommend and a short walk to downtown San Diego which I somewhat recommend. There are a lot of drugs in the area so watch out. If you need a place for 1 night or 2 and you are on a budget and able to fend for yourself then I think this is a good place to stay. Very friendly staff. Safe travels.
