Pet friendly motel, good rooms, friendly staff and does government discount :) Fifth stay in this location, tend to use them regularly when coming home to Dubuque.

Stayed 2 nights. Had no idea they had bedbugs until I started itching and burning. I'm highly allergic. I will be calling a lawyer because they rented rooms knowing they had them, and that's against so many codes. We will not be returning. I have pics of every bite

This was one of the worst Motel 6's I've ever stayed at. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the sheets had cigarette burn holes (it was a non-smoking room), and there was actual garbage on the vanity. Definitely not worth the money, felt cheated.

The light for the sink was super dim, the toilet would constintly fill, even after I checked it and it looked normal, there we electrical wires sticking out of outlet covers, cheap, extension cords were used for light, tv, and fridge. The sinks pressure was either little or full blast spray. The windowsill had dirt and dead bugs on it. The top blanket for the bed was thin and crunchy feeling.

I booked my stay through the Motel 6 website. On the website they advertised internet is available for 1.00. I get there and they say internet is 3.99. I asked why and they said they had upgraded there systems the website just hadn't updated the price. I unfortunately paid it because I needed internet for some things I was doing. Due to false advertising I will defintely not stay at this Motel 6 again.

The room was nice and clean. My only complaint is the shower. We were in an "accessible" room. The shower was nice sized. It had what looked a piece of weather stripping across the shower entry, presumably to keep the water in. However, the curtain rod was on that bows out to accommodate larger people. This cause the curtain to hang out past the weather stripping. Consequently, the floor became very wet when we took a shower. The tile floor was very slick when it was wet.

Floors were filthy. Wiped up water on floor and towell was black. How hard is it to get housekeeping to mop the floors?
I've noticed on good reviews the owner responds, but not a peep with the bad reviews. Must not care!

Motel 6 is a no frills hotel chain. There is no coffee maker or iron in the room, no shampoo no conditioner. Their rates are also around half of what Super 8 charges. You want conditioner or coffee in your room? Go somewhere else and pay the rates. I will come back to Motel 6 and bring my own things.

This ranks on the very low end of the scale for Motel6's we have stayed in on this trip. Judging from only two other cars in the parking lot, there were only a few other guests.
    1. Checkin was okay, the 'light was left on'.
    2. Office was dark until maybe 9am, thus no coffee.
    3. Room was clean.
    4. On the morning of our last day, I awoke to discover 10 bug bites on left arm, right arm, and face. (They were not there when I went to sleep). The left arm collection of 4 bites in close proximity resulted in swelling and bright redness. I went to Urgent Care, given the unusual appearance of that spot. The physician assistant took a sample swab to check for infection, but felt it was not the same in appearance as bed bugs bites. 3 days later, the swelling has gone down and most of the bites appear to be healing, although very slowly.

Staff were pleasant, they had a pet friendly room, and the location was good. We asked for a non-smoking room, but the bathroom reeked of cigarettes so bad that leaving the bathroom door open made the room smell bad. I ended up putting toilet paper over the bathroom vent, which the fan did not work, and that seem to alleviate some of the smell. There was a leak in the ceiling, but the room was free of any bugs, was clean, and was convenient for our stay.
