No problems at all. Enjoyed our stay as usual, except wifi did not work.
I think Corporate needs to stop by. I like a smoking room but this one was way to damaged by cigarette burns every where to include three wholes in the blanket. The bed spread had a big stain and the shower curtain had lots of mold. Kind of scary people hanging out side and around but it was Friday night. I usually have great clean safe experiences at Motel 6s as I drive the country. Maybe its just Atlanta?
Very nice Motel 6 location. Clean rooms, friendly cleaning staff, great value.
A lot of pan handlers and druggies in the area all night long. Too much activity going on to get a good night rest. Rude front desk person Ricky was his name. Definitely will not be visiting that area again. So not worth the price charged. How do you walk up 3 flights of steps and have to wait for people to finish putting their drugs up before you can get by.
People were partying all nite long. Very noisy place. kept getting woke up from the party!
I was right below them and staff wouldn't change my room. I did complain. It was useless
This place is disgusting. There were bugs on the walls, the bathtub did not drain I had to clean the drain myself. There were cigarette butts on the floor, a hole in the bathroom door, and worst of all, a USED condom in the bathroom as well. I would HIGHLY recommend a different hotel/motel.
I will never ever stay here again.. this was the worst place ever. They changed the rate from $65 to $70 to $80.00 while we were waiting in line. Then we get to the room and turn down the bed and the sheets were dirty. I call the front desk and the man told me oh well sorry. The cleaning people are gone and I don't have a key to the laundry room. He hung up on me. I walked to the front desk and ask the man what did he expect me to do. He so I don't know. I asked for another room he said no I'm not giving u another room then I asked for my money back. Another man can from the back with the key went to the laundry room and through some sheets at me. I asked him if he was coming to change then he told me no if u want it changed you change them. They were extremely rude and disrespectful. Then the sheets he gave me were not even the size to fit the bed. I was so tired I just placed the sheet on top of the comforter and tried to make the best of it. I knew it wasn't gonna be a 5,4 or even 3 star hotel but I never expected the rudeness that I experienced..
The location is perfect for where I needed to go. I liked that it was also located by plenty of food choices. The best part .those staffing the office. I really felt taken care of, and safe because of Rick. I even lost my phone during my stay, and he helped me get it back! I will be returning in June, and will be booking there again because of him.
I arrived at this hotel late Friday night after a long 6 hour drive. The night clerk was minimally helpful to point out my room directly across from the hotel lobby and front desk. I was traveling with a small dog and when I went back out to get ice, which I found on my own, the night clerk starred at me with my dog like I was some sort of criminal the whole time.
The room was big enough but the booking stated I would have a fridge and microwave. This took me to after 1200 on Saturday to get. Had to request from desk clerk twice.
Saturday night was extremely noisy. I am quite sure there were drug deals and/or prostitution going on outside. Very loud music all night long and people talking loudly all night.
I would NEVER recommend this dump to anyone AND it was pricey at that. I complained at front desk but the clerk looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language.
I stayed here with my husband and kids. We enjoyed our stay. Nice room with refrigerator and microwave with a good price. Our room was clean and comfortable.
The plumbing was absolutely horrible. The electrical work was horrible. The toilet broke the very first time I even used it. The shower took ages to heat up and cool down. The electricity went out twice.
The first room we were given was a "Non-Smoking" room but it had obviously been smoked in, I had started to get a headache within moments of entering. At the gentlemen gave me a second room immediately.
List of dirty things in the 2nd room:
Sheets
Blankets
Walls
Pillows
Tub
Under the AC unit
Most of these things could have been taken care of had they just been cleaned properly, and dust was simply swept under the AC unit. It was simply unacceptable.
Parking is difficult, at best considering the spacing/distance between lines. The building as a whole is largely in disrepair; stairs are cracked and horribly uneven in spots. I'm glad I was able to climb up to my room with luggage without falling although I cannot say the same for other guests.
The WiFi at the very least was manageable, besides this and the customer service, they were the only good things about this location.
While it's not likely to be helped, the other clientele was simply shady at best. Most kept to themselves, and were quiet most of the time (luckily at night) but during the day they let their kids play in the parking lot as cars were driven in. A child was left in a car to honk repeatedly for 45+ minutes. I know these things aren't at fault with the hotel, but given the location, people need to know what they might be getting themselves into.
If you're in desperate need of a place to sleep, and you have the $70 to burn, go further down I-85. You'll find better hotels for the same price.
I like it. Clean and nice.
Front desk really friendly
Rooms were clean and smelled fine. Did not experience any issues, was only here for one day. Was located on the second floor and had no problems despite my worries that it would not be good. Would come back again.
