Took 20 mins for couple to check in at 830 PM on 11/17/2017. Couple checking in had a handicapped parent. No accomodations were made after the request. They asked for first floor room. Very sad:(( I'm a Platinum Marriott Reward Member was given 1 room temperature water for me not my son. Had to ask for Platinum upgrade. Terrible check in experience.

We were very pleased with the clean, comfortable, friendly atmosphere of this hotel. We were treated very kind and respectful by the staff. We wish to thank Jackie, the morning breakfast attendant. Jackie was very nice and helpful and has a terrific pleasant attitude. Ms. Brooker is a very pleasant, effecient General Manager of the Aiken establishment.

As a frequent traveler I normally have extended stays at many different hotel chains. This facility has the normal amenities with a evening gathering three nights a week. The rooms and facilities are clean maintained daily. The staff is very friendly and personable. The rooms on the fourth floor are pretty quit however on the lower floors you can hear foot traffic from above that can be very annoying. The housekeeping staff is eager to please with a smile.

Recommendations for improvement: The staff parks in the closet spaces to the doors forcing customers to park in the back lot. Normally hotels have designated employee parking located in the back of the lot or have a special lot just for employees. Hotel management allows staff and their families to use the pool and laundry. As a non smoker it's difficult to use the outside seating, pool or even entering the building as the smoking rules are not enforced.

Our basketball teams stayed here for the Peach Bowl basketball tournament. Our room was pretty nice and clean. Was laid out like a little apartmenthad everything you neededdishes,silverware, coffee, etc. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. They had a little snack/food bar that definitely came in handy at 2am with nothing open. Pool looked small but didnt have a chance to enjoy it. Would stay here again.

They had good service and nice room arrangements. The full size fridge and mini kitchen were helpful. Curiously the only trash can with a liner was the one in the closet. They social hour cookies in the lobby in the evening. Breakfast was pleasant, but if we had been there more than a week I would have wanted more variety.

Rooms were nice with kitchens. The bathroom counter space was very limited, and the mattress was very old and soft. The service was good though and check in was easy. The dining area was a little cramped. It was an average hotel.

I regularly stay at Marriott properties across the country, but this was the first time I've stayed in a TownePlace. It certainly has met and exceeded my expectations. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and the property is as conveniently located as it can be. I only had breakfast one morning, but it was on par with what I'd hope for. The coffee is better than I've had at comparable hotels. I didn't look for other amenities (gym, etc) because this was only a short trip. I would certainly stay here again if I ventured back to Aiken.

I have stayed in this hotel for longer than I believe any of the current staff have been working here. It is a relatively new facility and each room is well appointed. The suites have an upgrade kitchen with a standard oven/stove combo. The non-suite rooms have a stove-top, however it is a bit odd in that it controls temperature by cycling power to the heating element, rather than running the heating element at a lower power level. Just something to consider if you intend on cooking regularly during your stay. I always find the property well kept and quiet. In addition, the property is quite close to a multitude of restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. The staff is always accommodating and the rooms are always well cared for. The only criticism I can raise of this hotel is that, over the years, some of the doors inside of each room fail to latch as the hotel has settled. The hallway doors, however, remain as good as new (something that cannot be said for all hotels).

Front desk check-in was great. Associate was friendly and helpful. Exercise room is a bit small with 2 treadmills and an elliptical crammed in with dumbbells with just a bit of floor space to actually use them. The room was great - bed comfy, appliances seemed new, and walls quiet. Also very good location.
