Went there for brunch, I ordered the salmon benedoct however both the hollendaise sause and smoked salmon taste plain. Place looks really nice and I live the sofa seats. My friends said their food was quite salty.

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. We are those people who wake up late, but still want to partake in brunch. We were sitting in a 45-minute wait for one restaurant, and calling around to see if we could get in somewhere else quicker. Time was not on our side as late brunch spots were closing up within the next 30 minutes. My boyfriend called one restaurant, and the hostess gave him attitude saying they were closing soon. Next, he called Morningside and the tone was completely different. They said there was no wait, and they hoped to see us very soon. The decision was easy. We cancelled our previous reservation and went to Morningside Kitchen. The ambiance is beautiful. The service is amazing. And you can tell that the employees are happy. They were walking around smiling, laughing, and interacting with customers in genuine ways. The food was outstanding. They have the best muffins you will ever have in your entire life. We wanted to brag about our server to the manager, and as we were doing so we relayed the story about how we were calling different places and the person over the phone welcoming us in at the last minute. Turns out that person who answered the phone was the manager! Needless to say, you should definitely go to Morningside Kitchen. You won't be disappointed. We can't wait to go there again for brunch, and we are super excited to check out their dinner menu/experience as well!

I came here for Sunday brunch and was extremely disappointed. The service was really lackluster - our waiter would frequently come to our table, start to take an order, and then leave halfway through as he remembered something else he was supposed to do. Understanding Sunday brunch at 12:30 is pretty busy, we were willing to cut him some slack. However, the food itself was bad. I got the hanger steak and fried eggs with cheese grits. The steak and eggs looked like it was plated as an after thought and the grits were runny and grainy. My friends both got salmon Benedicts and the eggs were cold, as if they'd been sitting in the kitchen too long before being delivered to the table. There's nothing more disgusting than cold eggs. It also took a very long time to get our drinks (champagne + OJ shouldn't be a 15 minute wait). For the price and build up, it was a terrible experience and I won't go back. Spent the whole time missing Rosebud and went across the street to Family Dog for a drink after, where the service and drinks were much better.

So glad to have made the trip to this place. Everything here was a delight from the dishes to the service. Cannot believe how amazing the staff was. Every plate ordered exceeded expectations, fabulous presentation, and all beyond delicious. Love that everything is locally sourced as well. Will definitely be back.

The food here was food. Evrything was delicious. Our server was a bit absent but other than that I was fairly impressed. Family friendly. And they take reservations which is a plus for Sunday brunch

Just sat down. Was served coffee quite quickly. Our server was friendly and patient.

Had the Shrimp and Grits. Forgot to snap a picutre of it before i gobbled it down. The shrimps were huge, grilled to perfection and you can taste the flavor of the sea, shrimps were also succulent. The 2 poached eggs were soft and you can break the yolk and stir into the grits. It made for a creamy, satisfying breakfast.

    Will surely be back.

    YES plu-ease.
Note: if you eat here once a week you will not only go broke, you will undoubtedly die of gout and high blood pressure. You will die extremely happy, and full.

Beautiful presentation. Beautiful food. Such a fun and amazing experience. You must do it. I would like to make this a once a year occasion. (Well, more often but refer to earlier comment.)

The Kitchen is an exquisite dining experience.

Morningside Kitchen is an architecturally chic place for dinner. The upscale ambiance is only outdone by the great food, cocktails, and service. Delicious entrees were complimented by interesting sides. Our server, Jamie couldn't have been more engaging and the head chef inquired personally about our experience. Don't miss this gem! We will definitely go back on our next trip to Atlanta!

I can't give this place enough stars! I needed to find a private dining space for a group of 28 with only a few days notice. Joy answered my inquiry quickly and was so helpful and accommodating. She had space available at Morningside and helped me get all the details squared away!

When my group arrived the restaurant staff was super friendly, the restaurant was beautiful and our private dining space was the perfect size for our group. Our servers were amazing, Steven was on top of everything, glasses didn't run empty and food was prompt.

I was still a bit off from my minimum for a large group and he came in and offered additional
Cocktails and desserts to our group. He didn't have to do that as a minimum is a minimum but he went the extra mile to ensure we got the best value for the money spent. We had another server who was equally as nice and accommodating but I can't remember his name (sorry)!!

I truly can't say enough about this place. 5 stars all around and Thank You so much for making my event so amazing especially with such quick notice!!!

    Hugs & Love,
    Sarah :)
