I went here for breakfast over the weekend with my husband and we thought it was great! We went soon after they opened so it wasn't packed, which was nice. The atmosphere was lovely and I absolutely adored the interior and setup. The service was great as well.
I ordered the challah French toast which had a different, but delicious honeyed ricotta filling. My server suggested putting the bananas that came with it on the side, which worked out perfectly because their sweetness might've overpowered my meal. I ordered the lavender biscuit as well and it wasn't out of this world, but it was still good. Overall, I really enjoyed my dish!
For my drink, I had a chai tea latte with almond milk and it was pretty good.
My husband ordered the belly Benedict. He wasn't a fan of the spinach in the dish, but aside from that, he said it was tasty and nice to try something unique like that.
If you haven't been to this spot before, I would definitely recommend visiting!response / report this review -

Fantastic, creative artisan food. Came for Brunch on a Saturday late morning. Staff was friendly and prompt despite the busyness. This place has a very homely, comfortable atmosphere that compliments the food very well. Parking is limited and street can be full, but certainly worth the effort. Looking forward to another visit.

This charming, eclectic, and somewhat cramped restaurant is one of my favorites in Atlanta. The combination of shabby chic aesthetic with the quality local fare delivered by be-spectacled tattooed hipster servers will make your day. If you can plan for it, try the supper club! Their most delectable, and future main menu items are served there

Great food and decent prices! The maple syrup is, however, not maple syrup. It is high fructose corn syrup and flavoring. That is the reason for a 3 star and not 4. Otherwise, good!

AMAZING! I went to Sun in my Belly for Lunch on yesterday, and it was one I'll never forget! The Staff were kind, the food came out fast, and the ambiance was nice and quaint. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for quality food and great service.

Great vibes and strong coffee. Pastries are delicious. Eggs belly Benedict: A+ (eggs Benedict on honey glazed sweet potato and bacon hash)! Great brunch spot. Wait is usually around “15 minutes,” but we were seated much faster (party of 2).

Such a wonderful place to dine for breakfast. They have amazing food and kind waitstaff. I like going there for a morning date and having pimento cheese, bacon sandwich. They have many good things to nosh on it makes it hard to pick a favorite.

Sun in My Belly is a favorite spot. I've hosted birthday celebrations, taken out of town friends, and recommended this place to multiple friends. I really hope we visited on an off day. Otherwise, I am really disappointed.
We showed up at noon for Sunday brunch. I was very pleased that we didn't have to wait for a table-- which is a bit unusual. Once seated, we noticed flies--a lot of them in the restaurant. This was a major turn off. It wasn't just one or two, either. This is understandable with the doors constantly opening. Still, I wasn't about to have any meat.
Next, came our entrees. My dining companion had a salad. He complained (to me) of unwashed greens. I sampled. He was right. They were gritty.
I had the new menu item -- purple potato salad. It was delicious-- but I had a gritty forkful too.
Finally, I was offered a refill on my tea. My tea was refilled (replaced) with room temperature tea with no ice.
I still love SIMB. But guys, please do better than this.response / report this review -

Off street parking Alii the tough.we were seated immediately.The waiter brought us water, took our order ad we waited 30 minutes for our meal. The food was very flavorful, but only warm instead of piping hot. The menus is really small and simple.

I love everything about this cafe/restaurant. My favorite lunch menu is Asian Chicken salad sandwich. It's like "I really wanna know the recipe so I can make it at home." I tried their beet and couscous salad, which was off the chart. I guarantee you don't regret to go to this place if you are in town.

I am absolutely infatuated with this place. I love their diverse menu and even though it can cost you a few pennies it's always worth it. It set the tone for tranquility and its eclectic style goes well with its exceptionally seasoned food. My favorite dish: ("Big Bites" section) "Cocoa + Espresso Braised Beef short rib" w/ bacon roasted Brussels sprouts and Parmesan mashed potatoes.

Cool and low key. We had brunch with friends we met in Argentina and caught up. The place had great food, good coffee, a relaxed atmosphere just right for taking our time with our friends and talking.
