I graduated there 1992 with AS computer information its good college. I finally got BS Texas Am Education
Great three years spent at this place. In the middle of high school and university, going to Moorpark College prepared me for university.
Tips for new students: Make use of the tutoring available in the third floor of the library. Buy books online, not the bookstore. And make plenty of study-buddies.
It is a great college, but Financial aid is a pain they tell one thing but then change saying something else. Other then that it great school to get started then transferred to a university.
A variety of classes too choose from , a good place to get your general education for half the costs , excellent professors and friendly faculty. However I would want to see an improvement of the internet, food that is not just from a vending machine, and more social interaction .
This college has beautiful views, knowledgeable teachers, lively atmosphere, and the people are really friendly :)
Very good school to start learning your career!
Daughter goes to HS@MC & college classes at Moorpark College. Mrs. Delery, the principal, works very hard so her high school students will strive for excellence while she's there with a safety net for them. An excellent high school & middle college choice to get college credits at the same time!! The instructors are top notch! If you're looking for that close to perfect educational opportunities, we found it here. You don't even have to live in the distinct to attend. Yes, they have honors classes if so desired.
Great selection of classes. Very nice people and all but It's absolutely amazing how lazy and spoiled students are here. It's like a competition of who can do worst in class. Great teachers all around. It was really hard to make friends in this college. Specially if your are not from around there.
