I love this college 💖
I current attend C.O.C. I love the campus it's beautiful the staff who tend to the campus grounds are always kind. They offer a wide various course selection for a Juinor college. The cafeteria is great. Personal favorite their burritos I say it's best place to grab one in all Santa Clarita and Newhall I have yet to find a better one. P.S. if you know of please let me know I'll do a side by side test to see who's is the champion.
There's less reviews of COC than the fatburger near it. That's pretty sad. I am going here next year tho so I didn't want to give it a one.
Terrific school to attend, was for me for my first few years of college.
Just like any place of Higher Education you have good teachers, and bad. Unfortunately they have some horrible ones.
Parking has been dismal for years, overcrowding from people who live hundreds of miles away, ran by people more worried about how they appear to the world than how they run their education system.
I am underwhelmed, and it makes Community Colleges back east look amazing.
Either make it into a UC, or commit to being a community college.
The blame is not entirely on CoC or Van Hook, it is on how California runs it's educational system.
Pretty low quality community college, the teachers are often underqualified and know less than some of the students (especially when it comes to how to use technology) there website almost NEVER works the way it's supposed to and there hold times when you call them are a joke.
College of the canyons hired telemarketers to repeatedly call my phone to ask to fill out a satisfaction survey for them. Well here is my opinion: I'm quite unsatisfied with how often you call me asking how I liked going to school there.
Went here for four years. Graduated with my AA in Communications. Then I went to the university Building for another 2 years and got my bachelor's in Communications through COC and College State University of Bakersfield
By far the best community college. It's a clean, contemporary campus that is beautiful and easy to navigate. They have an amazing selection of classes offered on campus and online. They even do a lot of short-term classes that are only 4-8 weeks long for those of us that don't like to drag things out for an entire semester. The teachers are great. I am graduating this month but I plan on taking classes there forever just for fun (wine classes, hello! LOL)
