Dr Patrick is by far the best vet we’ve found in the Santa Rosa area. We’ve had our family pets all cared for by him and we’ve always received the best of care. Even our very timid and sometimes mean rescue cat is totally relaxed and comfortable with him. We just saw him this week for our annual checkup. Our appointment with Dr Patrick was at 9:30 and by 10:00 we were headed home with a happy cat, all our questions answered and a fair bill for services.
Sadly, a false rumor was shared in Next Door that Dr Patrick had retired. Which is 100% totally false and devastating to his practice which he’s built with loving care for many years. The truth is that he lost his home in the 2017 fire and had to cut his hours back as he rebuilt and managed that devastating loss. He didn’t leave people hanging, instead he brought on additional support. Beyond being one of the best vets in Sonoma county, he’s a good guy and my hope is that he feels equally supported by our community.
Kudos to this awesome clinic and the people who work hard to provide excellent services. I’m here to say that my experience is and has always been amazing.response / report this review -

Dr Patrick is the best! Kind, gentle, patient and loving towards not just the animals but their parents too. His energy is so calming. My little girl is not too friendly and she is absolutely an angel when she is in his presence. I think the world of him and I’m so grateful he is the one caring for my baby when she needs care. 🙏🏼❤️

Warm, professional staff at Montecito Vet makes sure our spoiled long hair kitty is very well taken care of. Kitzie actually enjoys his visits for high maintenance grooming (thanks Brittany), exams, vaccines, etc.
Dr. Patrick is a great vet and so understanding, gentle, patient and really in tune with his lucky patients. Same goes for all the nice people there who truly love every animal who comes through the door.
We couldn't have found a better place for our kitty;s care and are extremely grateful to all of them.

I felt very comfortable leaving both my puppies with the staff
of Montecito Veterinary. All the staff is very attentive and courteous.
Veterinarian Steve Diehl was very communicative with the information
regarding my pets procedures. It is a long drive from our home in Windsor.
Well worth the drive with the care provided by Montecito Veterinary.

Montecito Vet is the best possible care. Their medical experience and skills and in-house capabilities are first rate. They treat your pet with love, like their own family pet. I am always sure I'm doing the best for my beloved Bodhi by taking him to Montecito Vets. They are wonderful.
