I had three sessions here, with Meredith Bauer, and my experience was truly terrible and unprofessional. I had 2 intake sessions in which she joined late, ate and seemed generally distracted during my sessions.
My 3rd session with Meredith started by her asking what I wanted to "work on". I reiterated that my issues with trauma and grief were my reasons for this therapy. It didn't seem like she had remembered anything from our previous two sessions. I'm not the therapist, so it was very odd that she repeatedly asked me what to do.
She again joined late and ate during the 3rd session. Schedule a lunch break! She repeatedly messed around with her dog and LEFT for 5 min to let the dog outside during my session! She seemed extremely distracted and really seemed to be phoning it in.
Meredith Bauer didn't even seem to remember what I had told her, and she definitely didn't have anything prepared for my session. In between eating and dealing with the dog, she suggested that I try "lighting candles" or "playing a specific song" as "self- care" and read me a "relaxation exercise", so she should have an excuse to have me sit by myself while she dealt with her dog outside.
Meredith Bauer didn't pay attention to what I said and was completely unprofessional during my sessions. She didn't remember most of what I had previously told her!
This practice charges top dollar and came recommended by two of my friends, but my experience with Meredith Bauer here was truly terrible and upsetting. I wish she would have just stated that she didn't know how to work with issues like mine. I wish that Meredith, or any other therapist, would realize that this profession is for helping others.
It's not just for making easy money billing back-to-back sessions while eating lunch and doing household chores. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone dealing with trauma, grief or loss. They have left me worse than I was before.
***Update*** MT tried for weeks to have my review removed. Do not trust their reviews.***
I just called to inquire regarding psycho somatic therapy and just the experience with the administration personal was so amazing. I would like to see a therapist at modern therapy certain point in time just based on the reviews , the friendly and helpful manner of the administration staff. I definitely think this place is totally worth it .

I cannot express how lucky the person who signs up to work with Kayla Clark will be! She is one of the most passionate and hard-working counselors I've gotten to meet. I have never walked away from talking with her without either learning something about myself or thinking about how I could improve or change my life for the better. I always appreciate the honesty and integrity she brings when I get to meet with her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Stephanie Baldwin is one of the kindest, most genuine people I know. She works in collaboration with her clients to create a space that is safe and nurturing to facilitate growth and healing. Stephanie meets her clients with compassion, empathy, and vulnerability. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.
