My 16-year old son had a problem with depression for some time. After a discussion with my family and friends, I scheduled him an intake appointment for depression counseling. One of my friends suggested contacting Craig Counseling to see if my son indeed had depression or if it was something else. I contacted Craig Counseling and they were great. Nadia did a wonderful job with getting my son scheduled in quickly with Jessica. Jessica helped me significantly with diagnosing my son and treating him for depression. I am really thankful for the Craig Counseling team.

Jessica is an amazing therapist. When I moved to Charlotte, I truly needed somebody to help me to work through the change and help clear up my personal goals. She really cares and works hard to find realistic solutions to problems. I highly recommend her!

I have been a patient of Jessica’s for almost 8 months, and I am much improved under her therapy. I appreciate her comfortable style and also bring my son, who has ADHD, to another therapist and her practice and they are both phenomenal. I have referred friends to see Jessica that are dealing with depression, anxiety and other social issues with which she is incredibly helpful. I find her intelligent, knowledgeable, kind, but direct in her assessment of behavior and situations and approaches to balancing one’s life. Regarding Jessica’s faith and spirituality and how it does or does not characterize her methods, I believe if someone is seeking scriptural guidance they should visit their church and speak with a minister versus a licensed therapist.

She gave awful advice to my family. She asked me to trust a known liar, like it was just normal and that if I couldn't trust the known liar (who by the way is STILL lying) that I was the issue/problem. She was oblivious to reality and probably needs more schooling to deal with complex cases. OK to see her if you need a pep talk, but the family member of mine who was seeing her as patient got worse under her therapy. I ended up ending the family member's relationship with her and funny enough, she, the same day, left me a voice mail terminating her relationship with us. Also, I'd chosen her because she was listed as a Christian counselor on Psychology Today (which she has now removed) When i referred to things in the bible that were directly against her advice, she said she doesnt view scripture as relevant to her practice! So yeah, that was SUPER shocking- false advertising for sure!
