I ordered a rare( for Pennsylvania) plant on line and had it shipped. 2 very healthy plants arrived within days and very carefully packed with soil still damp! Great company! Thank you!

The best place to buy native plants. The plants are healthy and clearly labeled with common and scientific names. They also have a beautiful color catalog, a great online search engine and a caring, dedicated staff. They often come to the St. Louis area even though they are based in Jefferson City. Highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking to start native gardening!

I am so happy that I received my order today! It's hard to find native plants sometimes.

This is the best place to find native plants in mid-MO. Don't let the name fool you. Their wildflowers are fabulous, but they have so much more!

I was at a sale MWN was sponsoring at Backyard Birds in Kansas City early in May. I had preordered some Dutchman's Pipevine plants to be picked up at the sale, as well as some Marsh milkweed plants. The plants were strong and healthy, and settled in their new homes right away. We bought 4 pipevine plants, and planted one right by each leg of an old swingset, with a couple of trellis, ready for the plants to climb on. I'm very happy to report that this afternoon, we saw a beautiful female pipevine swallowtail flitting about the leaves. We looked closely, and there are 6 red eggs on the vine near the top. Only problem- there probably aren't nearly enough leaves for even one caterpillar!

Have been a customer since 1996, have moved 4 times since then, relying on Mervin and staff to help build each new garden with large, beautiful plants at extremely reasonable prices, even with shipping. One of their best features is being able to talk to someone immediately who knows all the plants, and suggest particular species. Also, their catalog gives extensive information along with beautiful, accurate pictures. The native shrubs and vines are otherwise hard to find. They will remain my No. 1 "go-to" nursery.

A really wonderful experience at Missouri Wildflower Nursery. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. As a gardening novice, I was very appreciative of their willingness to help my partner and I plan our front yard beds. We will definitely be returning many times in the future.
