First off i grew up around the area and loved coming here This place used to be amazing but with the change of ownership 2 times within 5 years they completely ruined everything about the place. The dock was torn apart. the store area was closed, the food was not anything special. The brisket was dry and had huge fat chunks on it. The menu is nothing like it used to be. The server pretty much asked for her tip. If she would have left it alone she would have got more. I wouldn't suggest this to anyone anymore. This used to be our stop before going home from our vacation. And the owners are from "kc" well that's where bbq is supposed to be the bestand they failed and. why are you paying $12 for food on the kids menu?

This has been a place we have gone after are annual float trip for 6 years straight and it's sad to say it will be our last. Items and menu prices have changed and not in a good way and the waitress was rude.

We had a party of about 30 and we had reserved a week in advance! And they knew we were a big crowd yet it took OVER 2 HOURS FOR OUR FOOD!!!! When we got the food the ribeyes were burnt and tough and REALLY overcooked!People in our party were sooooo pissed they walked home! Next year for our reunion we are going to baxters!

Love this place, been going to this bbq restaurant for 20 years! Best view of the lake, and the BEST onion rings around. They make a great Lakewater drink also.

I didn't like anything about it. They turned my group of four away at 6:30pm on a Monday because they didn't have enough ribs and brisket or bread. What? Is that a joke? You're a restaurant and you don't have enough food for the rest of the night? The hostess was also veryyyyyyy rude about it. I would seriously never recommend this place to anyone.
