The concierge is amazing! She went way out of her way to help me when I got sand stuck in the charging port of my phone, was such a pleasure to chat with, and gave me great info for things to do in the area.

Nowhere near the ambience, amenities, nor family friendly feel of CAMPLAND ON THE BAY ACROSS ROSE CREEK!!!They also discriminate against any camping vehicle older than 1995, without even chance to inspect for no leaks or "unsightly" the way Campland & Santee Lakes Preserve will! Haterz are pitiful.

Best park ever. Everyone is so nice here! Alex, the security guard, is A+! I think my dog loved him more than anyone he's ever met! Everyone in the office was also A+. Special shout out to Karen for helping us when the doggo got sick. The park is in the perfect place right on the bay, walking paths, parks, close to the highway by far enough not to hear any noise. The spaces are spacious and some have shade. There are ants as said by someone earlier but they're very common in the area and being outside sometimes you just have to accept nature is nature you know. Super clean bathrooms and laundry. I wish we could stay here forever! Freaking love y'all!

Spaces are pretty close and parking is tight. Backing your RV into a spot can be challenging with all the vehicles parked everywhere. Many lawns are dead and there are few amenities. This is a glorified parking lot with tight security.

Nice park but it is infested with ants. Spent 3 nights there and night one all the ants came out and filled our RV. They said they sprayed for them, but on night 2 back were the ants. We are now home and our RV is crawling with the critters. Oh, BTW if you want a quiet park, move on. Millions of kids on bikes, scooters, and anything with wheels riding around even at night just daring you to hit them. I also woke up with the critter in the picture right outside my steps. Nuff said, will never return.

Was ok but parking for an RV is straight in not angled so if you don't have good backing skills your kinda screwed. Also, most spots have trees you have to park in between. Good luck !

They are in transition and there are abandoned mobile homes all around the property. Looks like a ghost town. There is security everywhere to make sure homeless don't occupy these old mobile homes.
The rules are very precise.and they don't allow any motor homes over 15 years old, but there are these abandoned mobile homes that are probably 70 years old.
They also do not allow certain dogs. Just feel like that is descrimination.
Finally, the cost is approximately $100 per night. Seems like during this transitional period, they should be discounting their rates.

Overall the area is nice but that's about it. My mom lives here but she is about to move the RV to the park across the water way. I visit her often here and I've never dealt with ruder more prude staff. They always give me a hard time about visiting when I always follow the rules and have the appropriate and accurate parking pass. They give me snide looks and are rude when I've asked about wifi and other small things. They've also been rude to my mom on multiple occasions and we are very relaxed easy going people so this is hard to accomplish by us.
Their wifi is a joke. Consider it non-usable as it cuts out from usage on any device to where you are constantly having to log back in and the few times it does work it lags and is slower then you can imagine. You cant not have good wifi when many use this area as their home for long periods of time and need to access work related stuff from their living quarters.
They have a small patch of grass in the front that dogs are not allowed on. I understand this, but they should provide another area that dogs are allowed on because the whole surrounding area / Bay Area is not dog freindly so it's hard to enjoy it if you have a furry friend, just keep that in mind. They do have a small sad looking "dog park" but it's not much and not more then a couple people / and their pet can go in at one time or it's too crowded. I've seen almost every single person here have at least one dog if not multiple, they should really accommodate better.
The place we are moving to across the way a bit has a hot tub, they have events you can participate in, live bands, their wifi stretches all the way to this camp ground so you know it's good over in the actual area. They are a bit cheaper too which is awesome for all that you get! We have been waiting 6 months to get a spot so read this now and reserve your spot as soon as possible! Don't stay here at mission bay rv park unless you have to. Again, it'll do if your just passing through for a couple days but if you make this area and RV your life and home, DO NOT STAY AT MISSION RV PARK. It's not worth your trouble.response / report this review -

by now most RV parks realize that: WiFi is necessary and you can no longer provide fake wifi.This place is in the dark ages with wifi, assuming they can get away cheaply with wifi that provides one or two emails every 10 minutes. otherwise very nice

Every site has the appropriate hook ups. There is a snack bar open from 9 to noon, and you can rent a fire pit for $5 a day. Overall, it's fantastic!

Would love to come to your camp grounds. But my RV is to old going by your rules now.
So if you have a older RV for get this place..
I wouldn't even return even if I had a newer rig.
It's just wrong to be this way. but we will still enjoy camping at many other none blank places. Very sad they are now this way!!response / report this review -

Very convenient site -- all asphalt. Bathhouses are decent - some showers had lower water pressure. Locked security gates with guard (important because there is a derelict city owned trailer park next door with warning signs.) Wifi is supposed operational but it signal drops immediately or never connects. Or it says you have the wrong password. Connected once for 5 minutes in 4 days. Pitiful! A large Laundry is marked on site map but is non-existent. So 260 sites share 2 washers and 2 dryers that actually work. Called numbers listed to report broken machines -- the numbers don't work nor does website to report. Interesting that the creepy empty trailer park next door have lighted laundries you can still see when you drive by, but trespass signs make it clear to avoid that area! Thank goodness we aren't here for long!
