Food quality and presentation were poor and portion sizes are terribly small for the $$. We ordered the Spicy Calamari and instead received a plate with a pile of greens (that took up roughly 60% of the plate), marinara sauce (poured onto the plate with chunks of Jalapeno on top), and the smallest amount of Calamari I've ever seen served by a restaurant. The Calamari's breading was falling off and soggy and the overall taste was bland.

I ordered the Duck breast - the skin wasn't crisp, a lot of fat still residing under it. The small serving of Rissotto was the best part of my dinner.
My wife ordered the Halibut, which again was poorly breaded and tasteless!! We couldn't believe that they didn't season the fish or the Calamari!

I would not recommend this restaurant. Maybe their normal chef was on vacation? I would suggest one of the other restaurants in town that are on the water because if the food is bad, at least you'll have a nice view.

For anyone looking for a delicious dining experience, this is the spot. Terry and the girls make it easy to get excited about fine food. The salads, apps, wine, main dish and desert are served with grace and care, and always deliver food euphoria! Each element in the dishes can be tasted, enjoyed and nothing is ever overwhelming. I love this restaurant and I am a picky pain in the #$%.. I would and do recommend this fabulous place to anyone. When ever a client wants to send a gift certificate with flowers I choose Mise En Place because the quality and atmosphere is top notch. Five Stars All the way!

Excellent restaurant both in terms of atmosphere and food quality. Fresh and delicious. Not what one would typically expect to find in the Lakes Region, but this is a hidden gem. But reservations are a must especially in the busy summer months. A real treat.

Great ambience that gives it a city-feel. Great restaurant for that special occasion or a night out with the girls. The staff is excellent at recommendations especially if you eat gluten-free or have other dietary restrictions. I am always asking my husband to go here when he asks where I want to go. Love it!
