Excellent food and service. Recently started dining here and have been pleasantly surprised. Food is consistent and freshly prepared. Excellent dinner menu and bar. Lunch menu includes paninis. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Best Italian in Salem!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. Our server Anthony was attentive and our dinners were fantastic . I got the Pork chop Valdosta and my husband ordered the veal saltimboca. Both were so delicious. We will definitely be back. It's our new fav.

We always enjoy our meals & time spent at Buono Panini Bistro. The owner and staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. The chef is creative and the meals are beautiful and tasty. We usually pair the meal with a great wine off their wine list and an appetizer or Caesar salad. If you are still hungry? Try a tasty dessert!

Decent amount of food for the price. Food came quick and the server was nice. I got the chicken parmesan. It was rather middle of the road and it was more of a cutlet style. I would go again but there are better places to eat on 28.

Returned again. Food was excellent but my order came out less a side of meatballs. By the time the server realized the error, I was about finished. Kitchen needs to put complete orders out and the server needs to pay better attention.

This is more of a sit down place where as I thought I could walk in and just order a sandwich. The name sounds like the name of a sandwich shop not a restaurant bistro. They might benefit from call ahead pickup orders. My panini (a cuban) was well made and delicious with plenty of veggies.

This place serves excellent pasta dishes that are made to order! Staff is friendly and the mojito I had was perfect. Highly recommend this place for a nice meal out with the significant other!

Ordered Vodka Martinis. They were done just the way they should be. Ordered veal. Only in NYC have I had veal so tender. I heard the chef beating the veal with a meat hammer in the back, and that is the only way veal is not tough. My veal intermingled with all of what the chef intended. I will be back, and back, and back. This place is awesome. Some might be turned off by the seemingly chain restaurant, it is not. Some might be turned off by the building, which may be an old International House of Pancakes architecture, but if they skip this place because of that, they're missing a great lunch or dinner period. I would have gladly paid more for the Martinis and the meal. And, what is rare, the staff actually care.
