Scratch kitchen is always great. Went with a group of 6 people. The server seemed unphased by the massive hordes of people the weekend before Halloween and everything came out pretty quickly despite the packed restaurant.

This place is great. They make everything from scratch. Ketchup, bread and pickles. I had a ham sandwich and it tasted like the kind mom made with Christmas meal leftovers. The staff was friendly. I do think the place could use a little updating.. But the food is impeccable.

Loved grabbing lunch here while visiting Salem! It was easy to walk to and our waiter was incredibly nice and fun to talk to. Portions were a nice size and had great flavors, a small fry was plenty for two people. Great selection of local beers too!

I actually visited this place because i work at a place called Scratch Kitchen & Catering in Newport RI and i wanted to be the first of my co-workers to check out our same name competition. The food was good, and the best part was they served beer! Very happy about that!!! Best part though was our absolutely amazing server! I didn't catch his name but he had a beard and was kinda tall. Was extremely attentive and patient and kind with my sisters who are very young. Brought us over a map and pointed out places for us to visit, also gave me a great beer recommendation. Very very nice guy, loved him. Ultimately i like our Scratch better, but we had a very nice time at this one.

Very limited selection when we visited. Food quality was good. I wish they would be a bit more open about providing diet beverages. Their niche market seems to be primarily only people who want to eat organic. You are likely going to be disappointed in this restaurant if you don't agree to a conspiracy theory about your food supply.

Just okay. Admittedly I only got fries and the quality was decent but the bacon dust was gross. No bacon just smoke flavor. Not my like, friend got wing and said they were great. Everything is made from scratch so it's kinda gourmet pricy, great location though.

Locally sourced, high quality ingredients, well prepared into some really delicious dishes. Could easily be a 5 star place were it not for the service which is often friendly, but sometimes completely out to lunch. This place is best known for anything the comes from a pig, and the BLT is out of this world.

Fantastic place. Really liked there burgers but their best thing is their homemade ketchup, it's AMAZING. It has a smokey flavor without turning into a BBQ sauce. It's a must have.

This guy is all business. Does everything right. It's food obviously, so everyone prepares things different but he definitely cares about every aspect of his business is my opinion. He is usually their. Younger wait staff comfortable place. Affordable. Great clam chowder , and chicken salad, and brisket.

Scratch kitchen is some seriously good food. Love the pulled pork sandwich and the hamburgers. The french fries are amazing -and I'm seriously picky about my fries. The only down side is the service is slow (or the kitchen is, not sure) but it's not a deal breaker for me. Good food.

Great location in the center of all of the action. Food was great. My favorite part was the french fries, which came in a medium-sized plant pot and were cooked to perfection. Even the ketchup was made from scratch. My brother had a burger that he raved about, and my husband had a veggie burger that was excellent. I had a salad that was pretty good. Our waitress seemed a little "off", but other than that, we had a great experience here. Very busy, but we still got our food in a timely manner.
