Very clean and staff welcoming and helpful. Cookies in afternoon with coffee and fine on the house breakfast in the morning with waffles and eggs and yogurt and more. Light was out over reading desk but I read in lobby area which has chairs and tables.

Friendly staff, bathroom clean, free breakfast had a variety of hot and cold items. We did not like pool location between parking lots; that is not a relaxing pool spot. Hotel is close to hwy and easy to find.

We evacuated and stayed here for 6 days during Hurricane Irma. The staff was wonderful. We had a hot breakfast everyday, clean towels and linens, and we were able to bring our cats and do laundry. The maid staff was so sweet. They always went out of their way to help us. They were especially helpful in assisting me with my disabled mom. They were very accommodating and helped us feel welcome during a stressful time. Nice town. Good restaurants. I would definitely go back.

Enjoyed a double room, quite roomy for Microtel. Clean room and friendly staff. Enjoyed dinner at the Oak Restaurant. Then shopped at Big Lots.

We made a reservation for a room with a single queen bed, microwave, TV, and fridge. What we received was a room with no microwave or fridge and a small TV mounted near the ceiling with a scrabbled signal. I finally had to stand on a chair and troubleshoot the TV to get it to work. Since we had arrived to a fully booked motel, requesting a different room was not an option. The sink (not vanity) in the bathroom resembled something straight out of a roadside gas station! (see photo). I must have stood for five minutes just staring at the bathroom and wondering to myself "where the hell am I?". The icing on the cake was when my wife sat on the toilet and leaned to reach a makeup bag off the sink shelf. The toilet almost tipped over! It wasn't secured to the floor! Why it wasn't leaking was beyond us.
We not be staying in this third world facility again.

*Footnote: an incident that I witnessed around midnight. A couple with two young children were at the front desk showing the night clerk a screen shot on their phone of their reservation and the clerk was coldly insisting they had no record of it! The couple was livid as they had driven all day and their entire family was exhausted. The response of the clerk was totally unprofessional.

This is a good hotel, despite all the bad reviews. A decent breakfast is served, the staff at the front desk was friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, free WiFi, coffemakers in the rooms, and on and on. The place is good to stay in, but it's not the fanciest hotel with world class spas. It is everything you would expect and a little more. The reason this isn't a five-star review is that there were some odd holes in the shower, and the curtains were ripped a little. Those were small but bearable flaws.

I wish I could leave a zero star rating. Went to stay here after a really long drive. The room smelled like a wet dog. There was hair on the bathroom floor, hair in the bathtub, hair on the pillows on the bed, and hair on the sheets of the bed.🤢And there was no toilet paper in the room when we arrived. Got a refund and moved across the street to days inn. It's clean over here, fully stocked, and cheaper.

I had the best experience here. Almost everyone on the staff from the front desk to housekeeping was helpful and full of warmth. We visited all the area sites, but the hotel was the highlight of the week!
