Overall the stay was ok here. We stayed here on the way back from Fort Lauderdale. The location is great, and motel looked good from outside. We did check it out on the internet before staying here.
Upon arrival the front desk was helpful in the evening shift, asked if we needed anything after we got to the room. The AC unit works great, you will freeze in the middle of the night as they only give you a very light blanket as a comforter.
For a room with two queens you only get two wash cloths and two towels. The outlet where the hairdryer was didn’t work. The wires were poking out of the reset button. We called front desk and asked for more towels and they told us we would need to come get them. Went down there and got breakfast while we picked up towels. The breakfast was not impressive and certainly not “hot”. It’s first come first serve only. So don’t expect to get breakfast if you wait until 8:30 to get up.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you just want a place to lay your head for a night without all the amenities.response / report this review -

This was the only place that was affordable and actually had rooms near Panama city beach at the time. I did not get to swim much because there was two girls always in the pool, must have been a workers kids, no adults at the pool with them. I don't think you should bring your kids to work and let them swim. They were pretty annoying kids. The lady that worked at night was very nice and sweet. They accommodated us very well. Beds were not all that soft but it's good enough for a few nights. Nothing negative except those two annoying kids.

we booked a room online a month in advance for travel. we arrived at 2pm which is when check in starts. we were rudely told we would have to wait bc there were no clean rooms. around 230 when we get into the room, the microwave is missing and the fridge is hot. we complained since we had food that needed to stay cold. we were told we would be moved but would have to wait on a clean room. it was 4:00 by the time we got into our room. ridiculous. no apologies only rudeness

Friendly front desk staff, VERY clean rooms, great price.
We arrived with other Southern Outlaw Dragboat Association racing families. The housekeeping staff was working hard overtime to make sure we were all fully accommodated. They were extremely friendly and our rooms were spotless. Plenty of towels, lots of fluffy pillows literally smelled like bleach and just clean air. Great hot showers.
My children loved the pool. Continental breakfast is kinda "on your own" kinda thing. Waffle iron, and such sitting out for self serving. Price, location, experience. all gets a huge A+ from me.response / report this review -

The Marianna Inn and Suites is a clean, comfortable hotel. Our draw to the place is that it is pet friendly. The only drawback is that it's not fee free.

We booked a non smoking, no pet room. Room smelled moldy. Bathroom floor had not been cleaned for sometime. Clalking was moldy. Hotels needs complete overhaul. There were 2 poor quality bath towels. No wash cloths no hand towels. Toilet rocked side to side. Pool needed repair. No attendant watching over breakfast. Tables filthy.
