I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Their beds aren’t comfortable at all & it was noisy through out the hotel at night. Last Saturday night when i got in my room i could hear the clerk at the desk talking loud with two gentlemen’s. Their breakfast wasn’t even good. I will never ever stay at Microtel at this location ever again bc it was not worth the 200 something dollars that i spent. I only click one star bc my comment wouldn’t post without clicking on it. So I’m not giving them a star saying they’re ok, I’m only doing it so i could post my comment.
We love the Microtel Inn & Suites but this particular one wasn't what we expected! The lady at the front wasn't friendly so the customer service was poor and on top of that we had a roach in our bed and when I informed the front desk clerk she changed our room but failed to give some type of apology! The rooms were somewhat clean but I would not recommend this location!
Hotel is not the cleanest. My family was traveling with my sister's and when they pulled back there covers and sprayed with Lysol as we always do a roach came crawling out. Told front desk clerk and she didn't even try to apologize just gave them a new room. Definitely needs some updating and extermination.
Nice place, great people work there, bathroom needs attention. They were so good to our dogs. Thanks
Clean rooms and nice staff.
Update: The shower and sink drain extremely slow. I also found a dirty pair of women's underwear hanging on the shower curtain.
Minus 2 stars.
This place was terrible! Girl was nice at the front desk ,but whew! Couldn't even stay.
A/C broken in first room. Second room, door is damaged, bathtub drain doesn't work properly. Sheets were clean but mattress pads not. Breakfast is sub par/bare minimum. A/C did work in second room but had issues.
This place was ok they did however up there rates by 40 dollars a night on my company. After hurricane irma we came down to restore power. One morning I overheard the lady with a customer. What I heard led me to believe that they upped our rates from a normal 80 a night to 120 a night. Not cool microtel.
I loved the room with the hot tub in it. But the other one I didn't not like. At all.. the staff was very nice. If they did some renovation on it be a nicer place
Small, decent hotel. Definitely a 2 star hotel. Room was missing bath towels and iron when I got there. Cost as much as a normal 3-4 star hotel but probably cause the 3-4 hotels up the street are overpriced. Breakfast is lacking but I like cereal. Staff is calm and helpful.
Good enough for an overnight stay. Remote for the TV didn't work. But the bed and pillows were comfortable. Nothing fancy. Bar soap for the shower. No shampoo or conditioner.
Felt more like transitional housing. Sheets, blankets, towel stained and dingy.
It wasn't a bad stay. Heard footsteps all night coming from upstairs.
This is the most decent hotel on Evans mill rd. You can go an exit up and get hyatt, holiday inn, & fairfeild for a hefty buck. Affordable,o and they have nice suites, laundry, & breakfast bar, and 5minutes from the mall. This place has improved from a year ago. Ill choose microtel over Super 8, Knights Inn & Red Roof Inn on Panola rd.
Great location. Clean up to date rooms. Need a little dusting. Great customer service.
