One of our animals needed to have surgery on a hernia recently and everyone at the Rochester Hills was great to work with. Everyone was very friendly from the ladies at the front desk to the veterinarian.
Very professional service. The staff is knowlegeable and will go all the out to help you.
We adopted our dog from the Westland location but use the Rochester location for all off our veterinary needs. They are well stocked with all medication and pet supplies.
Worked with Hayley to adopt Faith, she was so nice and had good advice, she was also super patient. The dogs were all kept in clean and cozy living areas. The entire team was helpful and caring. I would recommend!
We adopted our baby from the Rochester location and absolutely love the staff and the care! Everytime time she needs a checkup or just a nail trim, we're able to make an appointment that fits our schedule and the service is always pleasent!
Always have had good experience here and love their vets too.
the vet STAFF at this place is horrible. They can't think outside the box. I made a lot of unnecessary trips every month when only 1 was needed. Example, appointment needed, per staff, to bring my dog in. I come in, they weigh him in front of me, then hand me a pill. And there was no regulation notlr policy that they had to weigh him (i am allowed) nor do they have to dispense 1 pill at a time. WT-!
I was very happy with my experience with the Rochester Hills Michigan Humane Society. I have been taking my dog to a local vet, and never truly like the experience that we had there. My appointment with MHS was super quick and I felt comfortable having my dog get vaccinated. The room was very clean and that veterinarian was super nice and helpful with questions I had. You also can't beat the prices here.
I have my dogs neuter surgery scheduled with them in 2 weeks and I am not nervous to leave my pup in their care (which says alot!!)
My husband, son and I went in looking for a dog. We were very warmly greeted by Annie and she helped us kind of sort through which dogs would be the perfect fit or may not have been for us. With alot of knowledge, she made these decisions based on what we were looking for and the type of behavior the dog had. After the decision to pass on the dog, we looked at some feline friends. Annie was very eager to show us them as she explained they had an over abundance of them. When we walked into the cat room, we immediately saw our new family member. He was (still is) so cuddly, lovable and just perfect around our son. Annie was able to get us a discount on the cat and was very informative at checkout offering a 30 day free trial of health insurance and they even sent us home with a bag of cat food. I would strongly recommend this humane society to any and everyone whether you're looking for a cat or a dog. Thank you so much Annie!! :)
They care about the animals and give them nice clean blankets to sleep on and the place is very clean . They change the news paper in the cages and they are very friendly and helpful ! :)
Staff was not very friendly at this place, and when they try to educate u about the pet, they pretty much discourage you from adopting the pet you want.
Best experience with these guys! The faculty was clean and the animals were well cared for. But I was mostly impressed with the staff! They were all so helpful and friendly, even during the super busy and stressful saturday hours. We found the perfect new member to our family! He had been neutered, teeth cared for, vaccinated and evaluated for any health issues. I have already recommended this location to several people who are looking for new pets.
Amazing. ❤ We had to come to a difficult decision, to have our cat (Gabby) put down. The humane society was extremely kind, understanding, and compassionate. We even received a card, on the week anniversary, of Gabby's passing.
Love the diversity of the animals and the willingness to help an injured animal. Usually good attitudes from staff but not always. Treatment of animals appears okay at first glance but some things make one wonder.
