We love these guys we will only buy from them. We have purchased many times from them and most recently, they found the stove I wanted even though they don't usually sell it. Their prices are great and the customer service is phenomenal.Can't say enough good about them.!!!!!!!!!!!!

We loved the couches we bought, they were super comfortable and had a 10 year warranty so we didn't hesitate spending the money we did. After two years we noticed the couches needed extra stuffing , so we went to talk to Greg about getting the stuffing , and he said he would come look at them. Months passed and he finally came after we were consistent . He saw our issue and said he would order the stuffing ( it was apart of the warranty) and let us know when it arrives. Never let us know , we got sick of having to call or go I'm so we dropped it. Another two years passed and the back legs on the chair couch broke , and we went in to Greg about getting new legs. Same exact thing happened. We have waited now six months and nothing. With the back legs broke on the couch it has put strain on the front and now our almost 1000.00 single chair couch is ruined. Just be aware they dont honor the warranty so you might as well go buy a couch for 1000s less and not pay for a false warranty.

LOVE this place! Great atmosphere, great displays to help visualize how the furniture pieces will look in you own place and excellent customer service. No pressure sales just helpful and knowledgeable in their products. Made buying furniture stress free and a pleasurable experience. All their furniture is affordable and higher quality pieces. Delivery was available and was arrived as expected. They handled my pieces carefully and professionally, set them up where I wanted and left me with a fun treat so a thankyou. Best customer service around!

For the small town of salem. This place is to say the least AMAZING! He treated us better than any sales person we encountered south of Orem for appliances. And they ARE one of the only places to go pickup appliances on the spot.

-Prices were almost $100 cheaper than big name competitors even! (On new appliances even!!!)
-They explained products in great detail of its key features, functions and benefits.
-Was not pushy or rude.
-Seemed to genuinly care!
-AND financing available to those that qualify!
-Ton's of top brand names to choose from. I.E.: LG, Whirlpool, Maytag, etc.
-Store was clean, arranged & presented professionally and had lots to choose from.
Con's
-Store Location is hidden off main road.
Was so impressed we bought not only a dishwasher but a microwave.
Definatly your goto store for new, modern and or stainless steel appliances.

I have been going to Mel Hanks for years now. They have a great selection of furniture and appliances and you won't find a better customer experience anywhere else. There probably aren't too many family run stores like this left and we are lucky to have a great furniture store like this in our community. I've come to find out that they've been around for a long time which says a lot as you see a lot of furniture stores come and go. I've come to find out why they've been around so long and it is the way they treat their customers. Treat me right and I'll be back over and over again and that's been the case. Our last purchase was a new microwave and looks like our next one will be a couch set for our living room. And it's such nice shopping experience vs RC Willey where you can't walk around for 2 minutes without being pestered by a sales person. My wife and I really like to browse and take our time and that's one more thing we like about Mel Hanks.
