  Due to the weight of my existing string trimmer, me getting older, and my wife not being able to start a gasoline engine in the last 22 years, I purchased a BGA 56 Stihl battery powered blower along with an FSA 56 Stihl battery powered trimmer from Meade, in Green Valley, WV, this morning.
  
  I have about 20 minutes of trimming to do and 20 minutes of clean up with a blower. Like most I was somewhat skeptical using battery powered equipment in doing lawn work, but there wasn't the slightest problem with either one of these units. The blower worked fine and as far as I could tell the battery would have lasted at least 40 minutes, which I'm judging by its on-board battery indicator lights.
  
  Pretty much the same story with the trimmer, there was more than enough time on the battery to finish my yard. The trimmer would have lasted at least 30 minutes, again judging by its battery indicator lights. Here's a plus, that I didn't think about before I purchased these items and that is that they are much quieter than their gas eating cousins. I should also mention that I didn’t miss the gasoline exhaust fumes one bit.
  
  Be advised, if I run into a problem down the road with these Stihl 56's I will let you know, but as of today they both are keepers. I should take this time to thank Scott Coon for answering all my many questions this morning as I was trying to make up my mind. FR

  Excellence anyway you look at it, Maybe the name changed but guess what? The same people are there as before. Skillful mechanics, any part you need when you need it. Exstremely friendly staff like ( Anothony) 😀 They have the parts & Solution to any of you John Deere Questions. I highly recommend Mead's John Deere. Merry Christmas & Happy Newyear everyone.

  When the dealership was owned by the Conn family I was extremely satisfied with it. Since Meade Tractor bought the dealership the quality of service has steadily declined. The work they do is still good, but some of the ways they do it. For instance I am an 80% service connected disabled vet. Prior to Meade when I required service they would pick up and deliver my tractor free. Now they charge me for that "service" and the last time I had to help them load the tractor. They have had my tractor for 11 days, today they called me and told me they JUST ordered the parts. I'll be using another company in the future.
