This was a really nice experience, I love that the waitress and the waiters were eager to recommend items off the menu that you might not be familiar with. The only thing that I would mention here for next time is to plan for there to be limited parking in the parking area because this place is so popular, there is literally is no parking. There is a big parking lot across the street where you can park cross the road and then come in.

Authentic, savory Ethiopian cuisine at reasonable prices. They have both meat eater and vegetarian options. This is a small space, but there are plenty of parking options close by.

Quite family run Ethiopian restaurant. Excellent food. It's a perfect date place. For $20 you can split a veggie sampler (which is plenty of food for two.) Nice Ethiopian beer and honey wine.

Excellent Vegetarian Options , the injera was very good, thin and just the right amount of sour to compliment the beautiful delicious vegetable stews in the Vegetarian Special. The price was very good as well

So good! My family and I used to go to place in Adams Morgan all the time however unfortunately they closed down some years ago and this has been an AMAZING replacement!

They used to deliver too but I guess they got rid of they option, which is slightly disappointing since although the food is great, the place itself is relatively small and sound travels far to easily for it to be an enjoyable experience.

We orders 2 enterees and the meat was untouchable you can't even chew it is dry and hard. So then we moved to the next dish it was bland we went with my Ethiopian friend and even she couldn't touch the food! Horrible!!

    Do It!!

the food was very delicious, fresh, and clean. I absolutely enjoyed the flavors. The presentation was well done and I was given great service.
One thing I lovedd was the decor. The art alone is worth it. Do walk around & checkout the beautiful pieces arranged throughout.

Oh, and a nice selection of Ethiopian music was playing at juusst the right volume ;)

The food at Sheba's was delicious! I am coming back for more and bringing friends. I was a fan of their unique appetizer Brown lentils with injera chips - try it. The entree we got was Assa Goulash and Tibs Fitfit, it was spicy and authentic to taste. I met the owner, Tsiona and the waitress Kidist and found them to be very friendly and engaged with making sure our experience was enjoyable.

    Happy eating!

This place is nice and has really good food. You can't go wrong with the beef sampler. It is very small, and seems to only have two people working in it. But that's ok, because it never really gets that busy.

Not a good place to bring people if you want to have a loud conversation though. There's not a lot of noise, so you feel like you have to whisper. The view isn't that exciting either. But the food is good.
