Nice size venue for concerts and shows. Convenient if live in North Jersey. Spacious and new. Parking not a problem and events are reasonably priced.

I had a very good experience at the theater, though I admit it was for one of its free events. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The lobby and first floor are very clean and well lit. The theater itself is large, and I thought it has great accoustics.
I would give it a five but I don't often go to theaters so I don't have a recent experience to compare.
BTW there is public parking a few blocks from it so it's convenient too.

Great place to see top notch music and iconic bands. Saw Chicago, Ringo & Beach Boys in a single week. Holds about 1200 and sound is great. Come 30 minutes early and usually can find free parking within s few blocks (Elm, Maple, etc.). Come earlier to enjoy Morristown's great restaurants.

Went to see a comedy club and had a lot of fun! My only time at the theater but it was clean, organized, and spacious. Parking seemed pretty full so I would party further away in town or near the green and walk over.

Beautiful place great no matter where you sit. Can get a little crowded especially if the bars upstairs are closed. Free parking at municipal lot and a short walk makes the night pleasent and even more affordable.

Love being able to go to the theater with the family. Good selection of kids shows. Occasionally they have a show I might be interested in seeing as well.

Amazing shows, all the seats have a great stage view and they have drinks at the bar and snacks for the kids. It is in a prime location with some of the best restaurants in Morristown right around them, walking distance! Plus tons of cheap public parking!

The venue is only as good as the artists that perform there. They are the ones that breathe life into the house through the response of the patrons. We are fortunate In Morristown to have a very dedicated staff at the MAYO that keep things there humming and enjoyable for artists and audience alike. A great sound and lighting system tuned to perfection that is professionally managed.

Great staff. great shows. The only thing is the drinks are super expensive like 8 dollar for a 12 ounce beer or 10 bucks for a 8 ounce glass of wine.

Great performances at great prices in a not too big venue. Every seat is good.

I had the pleasure of watching "Mamma Mia" in this beautiful theater and BOY! was I impressed. Even if you come here for a play, concert, graduation, etc, you will be sure to savor the beautiful carvings that grace the walls leading up to the stage. An absolutely beautiful theater. Seats are comfy and they have cushions (leather and cloth) to sit on if you just so happen to sit behind an extra tall individual.

This is an amazing place to see a show or concert. Very artsy, in downtown Morristown with lots of parking options (always read up on this before a show, as the options change!). We like to park in the church lot right across the street for $5 when it is available (not for all shows, depending on what the church has going on) or in the free lot behind the municipal building and police station - which is safe, but maybe not so much if you have had a few too many at the show (in which case, please don't drive). Anyway, they have a bar inside for before and during the show, lobby can be cramped for busier shows, but there's a gallery upstairs where there's more room (and another bar I think). Great ushers to show you where your seat is, and lots of local restaurants nearby to dine before or after the show. They offer a lot of first-class acts (saw Peter Frampton recently). Sound and view are great no matter where you sit. A first class, well run theater and concert venue without having to go to the big city!
