Mary Jo's is the ultimate place for all,of your sewing, quilting, embellishment needs. Every corner of the store has a sign above it so you won't get lost and if you need assistance, their friendly and knowledgeable staff is on hand to help. AWESOME PLACE!

This was my first trip to Mary Jo's. I've been wanting to come for 25 years. It lived up to every expectation I had. Everyone was so nice and worked with me as I went through my patterns and got different fabrics for them. They helped with matching things, finding linings and many other things. They definitely went above and beyond the call, each and every employee. There was one employee there whose name is Jeannie and she has been there since the store opened, day one. She was fabulous.

Some of these ladies have the poorest attitude. If I had any alternative to finding what I need for my projucts, believe me I would nevergo here again and I have been shopping at Mary Jos some I was a teenager and the shipping experience had bottom worse and worse over the years

Mary Jo's is changing. They no longer offer a large selection and variety of upholstery fabric that they have been known for. They now have 12 inch swatches hanging on rods. You have to order a minimum of 5 yards. The swatches are permanently attached to these rods so you can't take a swatch you might like to other parts of the store to see if it matches or goes with other fabrics. I understand that competition is tough. They are carrying high-end sewing machines and offering custom furniture to stay profitable. Still very disappointing.

I LOVE this place. It has a huge selection, but everything is very organized. Every type of fabric you could ever want. I feel like the prices were fair if not good for what you get. Everyone who works there is so nice and helpful. I kinda feel like they're my grandma helping me with a project, instead of someone paid to be there. Even though it's a 30 minute drive, I will be back. Heck someone i met there drove 2 hours to get there. IT'S THE BEST!!

I think their cutting policy is ridiculous!! "If we cut it wrong, it would be our fault and we would have a stack of remnants…" Seriously? Are you hiring people who don't know how to measure? It's not difficult! Every other fabric store I've contacted offers free cutting. If it wasn't for the time crunch, I would have taken my business elsewhere! They're prices are also not that competitive. Yes, they have a large selection, but that's about it.
