Visit this resort couple times a year..love it..updates furniture and appliances regularly. Can bike to most parts of the island. Walking distance to marina, shops and dining. Buggy to beach for free. Beautiful marsh scenery

it is a very nice place to visit with the family to relax and enjoy its beautiful places and views suitable for all ages a lot of fun whether for a weekend or planning your vacation and because not a beautiful place to live or retirement good good unforgettable

Wheelchair accessible, great Riverside property..clean bathrooms, friendly staff.. reasonable prices before the peak season..some parts of the island were breath taking ..some of the rooms have full Kitchens , so if you are traveling with a full size FAMILY it's a plus.. however , make sure you ask all questions before arriving people tend not to and then get stuck in a room they didn't want..

Room we are in is pleasurable, however, it's a bit of a far walk for someone who has poor endurance and fair ambulatory skills. My son was using his remote control car and one employee told him he wasn't allowed to play with it, another employee told him to use the basketball or tennis courts and another employee told him he could use his car on the sidewalk, so long as he wasn't near cars or guests. The beds are extremely comfortable and so is the sofa. At this point, we are having a very enjoyable time.

People were nice, room was clean. Did not appreciate being told that we couldn't get in our room until after 5pmthat's ridiculous! We couldn't used the pool, etc because we had no where to change.

Excellent front desk staff will make your stay a pleasant one. Great amenities and perfect mid island location. This property has really bounced back after Hurricane Matthew.

Staff was wonderful, grounds were well kept, lovely view of the river with perfect spot for watching the fireworks. Our room was sorely in need of updating and the first time I've stayed at a Marriott where the second bedroom had two twin beds. I specifically booked a room for two couples. Not wanted to let our guests know of our displeasure, we took the second bedroom and sucked it up. Won't return until the next scheduled update is completed.

Relaxing atmosphere, excellent view of the wetlands and bay, and excellent services from the staff. My family and I are staying here for the week, and already are enjoying ourselves. Plenty to do for everyone as well plenty of places to visit outside of the resort.

The resort is very clean and quiet. There is no direct access to the beach from the resort as the beach is about 1km away and across the highway. However, they do include free parking near the beach. The area is very nice and the service is excellent. I asked for Allen keys for a quick bike fix, which they quickly provided. Also the events are fun. For example, the yogurt breakfast is really good. Furthermore, the hotel isn't pushy at all for selling you timeshare packages.
