Employee were friendly and served us quickly. I do however have a BIG ISSUE with the fact that on the menu nowhere does it say the chicken salad has eggs in it (I am allergic to EGGS) this could have been a big, big problem. I ordered the chicken salad sliders, when the food got there it look amazing. Just to look at the sliders you could not see any eggs, I did open the sandwich to inspect it (just a habit) now I had never before that day seen eggs in chicken salad anywhere. Not that people couldn’t make it with them I just know that I looked at the menu as to what was in the chicken salad before I ordered it, so I knew what was in it, and it said nothing about EGGS. So please this is a real allergy out there just like nuts add this to your menu.

We came for a weekend getaway, stayed in the R.V. Park, and decided to give this place a try. They gave us a friendly staff and fast service at a decent price!

Nice locally owned spot. Atmosphere is good, service was helpful, and you can tell the management care about the food taste/presentation. Will definitely be back.

Better folks running a campground you won't find! Clean facilities, nice well cared for pool, the attached restaurant has great food.

Only downside was the park cable was out. But cable is not why I camp.

Disappointed..price high, quality low! Food cold, service slow.. The staff was seen outside when we arrived and when we walked in the place was a empty, we thought they were closed. We seated ourselves and the waitress came to us when she finished sending a text or whatever she was doing on her phone, never again. Portions were not what I paid for, the menu is not what one would expect. Not sure if they are changing it or just trying new things because business is so slow but they were offering a southern lunch plate!?! Seemed strange. I doubt they will be in business long.

Great food! The potato bacon and cheese soup is fabulous! Salads are good. Shrimp is great! Ate here for lunch for our anniversary on the way to Falling Waters Park. Really good service. Love the ladies bathroom :-)

We had a great lunch at Up the Creek. We were going tubing on the Chipola River and wanted to give it a try. The burgers were great as were the fish and shrimp tacos! Their cheese grits and grouper sandwich are so yummy. Onion rings are sweet and crispy. We will definitely be back. Savannah is an awesome server!

Nice little place to eat - Pricey for what we got but even so was good. Still gets 5 stars.

Very lively atmosphere. Most of the wait staff is friendly and they have events such as karaoke very often. I suggest going when they have specials such as 1 dozen oysters on the half shell for 6.99. Appetizer portions are very small. I got 5 small shrimp with an amazing sauce on it for 7.99. Fried mushroom app had the same issue. Tasted amazing but they were sliced and fried, all together I got maybe 4 or 5 mushrooms and I wound up getting 2 orders. This time I got the fish tacos with the sauce that came on my fried shrimp app. Portion on the tacos was good as well as the fries that came with them. They came with large strips of grilled blackened grouper. Some of the best dish tacos I have had in a very long time. Over all I would give this place a 4/5. Will be going again.

The restaurant is absolutely disgusting. The equipment has not been cleaned in so long and so many health code violations were broken daily. The management, Beth, seemed to be on the floor taking tips from waitresses more than managing the restaurant. We also heard her being very rude to kitchen and waitress staff. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. Marianna is a friendly place, but this definitely isn't.

Best place to stay in town! Evacuating from hurricane Matthew I stayed one night at the Marianna Inn. It was ok but they were filled up the next night so I called arrowhead and booked a cabin.

Pros: beautiful location. View of lake from front door. Clean. Friendly staff. Fishing. Boat rental. Charcoal grill and fire pit. Toilet, sink, full size fridge, microwave in cabin. Porch. Picnic table. Cold AC. World class Hiking in area(conservation area just west of town) 4 miles of trail along the creek. I could go on and on. ONLY $50!!!!!

Cons: no shower in cabin(it's a campground what did you expect!) there are showers available at campground. Porch needs adirondack or rocking chair some highway noise(not as bad as the hotel)

Seriously why would you want to stay somewhere else? I'd come back here on vacation.
