I called Maitz in a panic over my broken AC at 2:00 am in the middle of a heat wave, and they had someone on scene within 6 hours! To me, that is beyond exceptional. Audie did a wonderful job fixing the AC until we could replace it. Joe was our Comfort Advisor, and he explained the whole process in great detail with installationin in a matter of days! I could not be happier with my Maitz experience.

I had them yesterday(7/15/22) to check my Ac unit.
Technician tried to charge me $6,000(for just changing new coil) and plus $1,900(for outside unit).
I am still wondering if this price makes sense..
I saw some reviews getting estimate staring 8k for new unit.. mine is 6k for just for changing new coil.. It feels like a scam

I still don't understand why I had to pay $ 275 as well.
They charged $89 and $159 HVAC Troubleshooting separately.
If they did something to fix it or got it better, I would have been willing to pay.
Even they found a little nest in outside unit, they just took a picture and left it in unit and close.

I really want to ask what is for $159 extra.
If I pay only $89, they are supposed to do noting? just come my house just asking what is happening without investigate anything?

Anyway, I will never use this company again.

If I could put zero stars I absolutely would. My wife called for service on one of our three split AC units in our house. After spending 2 hours looking at all 3 of our split units when we only requested service on one, nothing was accomplished. The only information provided on the invoice was nothing more than the service history that we provided the employee. We were also charged a $25 fuel surcharge when we live 3 miles away from the address listed for the company, and Google Maps has it listed as a 7 minute drive. I would love to know why they are charging customers the cost of 5 gallons of gas when they only drove 3 miles. I will never use or recommend this company. I would rather light the $275 I was charged on fire than give them business again.

Call of them to come charge my AC unit… Technician tried to charge me $4300!! Absolute highway robbery! Had to pay $115 just for them to come out there and tell them to leave. Following week I had an honest person come and do it for 250 what it’s supposed to cost… Will never use this company again. Strongly recommend you don’t either

**** I do appreciate them getting back in contact with me after this review, and at least refunding my $115. Still don’t understand how the price could be so astronomically high for the service… But points given for returning my money, thank you!

Several months ago, we had another company do regular annual maintenance of our oil boiler. About six weeks later, on Friday, our boiler was not firing. We called the company, but because we did not have a service contract, they would not be able to come out until Monday. We called Maitz Home Services. They came out within hours, even though we did not have a service contract. The reason the boiler was not firing was that the igniters were out of alignment. These were part of what was serviced during the annual maintenance. Had we had Maitz do the maintenance, with their no breakdown guarantee, there would have been no cost of repair, in this case to fix something that would not have failed if serviced properly.
