Always the best. If there's something out of the ordinary, I will find it there or they will order it if they can. Best meat department in Door County.

I bought 3 beautiful steaks from them last week. 13.99 lb. Rib Eye. All three of us got sick. I reported to the butcher who sold them to me quietly and discretely, that the meat smelled like fish. Maybe cut on a board that fish were also prepared? Cross contaminated maybe? We thought the paper it was wrapped in was to blame, msybe? We rinsed and marinated them lightly before we grilled them. He said he had never heard of that before! Maybe because the people died before they could complain!!!!

Kind of pricy, if coming for groceries I'd suggest getting them outside of the area but to pick up some meats, produce etc its a good place.

I love this grocery store! Fantastic wine selection, a vary wide variety of all types of products, great deli and bakery, and very responsive customer service. Great for a stop for lunch or to get your groceries for the week. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Door County.
