Pool is awkward to get to Has no windows. Food is good in the lounge and the location is prime for exploring, MTU events and shopping down town.

I've stayed at this hotel a dozen times and this last time they went above and beyond by giving my room a call to ensure that I had the proper taxi shuttle to the airport. Without that call I would have missed the flight, not to mention I was the one working the flight.Thank you!

This is the best place to stay in Houghton! You are within walking distance of their quaint downtown and the view from their top floor bar and restaurant is so beautiful. The food is fantastic as well. Rooms are a bit outdated but as I have stayed here a dozen times for work, never had a single problem there.

Spent 4 nights while attending a conference. While the building is older it's nice and clean. Food has been very good. Enjoyed the breakfast and drink vouchers.

Great hospitality and they have done well to give the rooms the modern commodities it needs. It's still an older style hotel but it is very cozy and makes you feel at home. Overall a great location and would definitely stay here again.

I have a pet and I was given the incorrect information about the pet fee. The room has torn carpet and damage to the walls. The cable has no guide to tell me what channel is what. It's to expensive. On the plus side everyone I've dealt with here has been very polite. And the view from the 7th floor Bonfire restaurant is great.

Had a great experience attending a ceremony and dinner. Venue was polished, food was good, and the serving staff did a wonderful job keeping up with everything despite the large number of guests.

Hotel staff was very accommodating of our large group and was even able to prepare an early breakfast (6:30) for us when we let them know before our stay. Rooms were clean and had nothing to complain about. The pool and sauna we well kept. A comfortable place without complaints.
