This is an older resort that's lacking in modern day amenities. The rooms are always clean and beds are comfy. The decor is a mix of a little modern with a lot of dated. There aren't any elevators or walk-in rooms, there aren't many activities and the game room is small. If you're just looking for a clean place to stay without any extras, this place is great!

I've been an owner at Lakewood since 1984. I've never wanted to exchange my vacation for a different resort as I love Lakewood. Excellent staff, beautiful view, convenient location, proactively maintained & updated facilities and guest units. Everything one needs for a stress-free and fun vacation.

Relaxing get away. The area offers something for everyone and Lakewood is a cozy, comfortable home base. Love it here! Have for 25 years!

I am spending the week here. It's a really nice and clean place. Enjoy seating out on the balcony looking at the Lake & evening with a nice fire on. I would've liked for the washer/dryer to be in the condo like some other places.

Have been coming here for 33 years and they keep this resort clean and modern. It's on the lake where you can keep your boat or water craft while you are there. Shopping,dinning and sightseeing galore.

Our stay was great. Rooms were clean updated. The bad part about the location is that it is right by the highway so you get a lot of highway noise. Also, I didn't really appreciate the condo handing out a flyer at the beginning of the week with last names, room numbers, and state of residence to EVERYONE staying at the condo that week. I like more privacy than that. Otherwise, great service and nice place to stay.

Great place to stay for a family vacation at Lake of Ozarks. Units and facilities are well maintainedand the office staff are friendly and inviting. My wife's family has been coming he for over 20+ years arms we would like to continue that with ours.

The Resort @ Lakewood is a fantastic and relaxing place to stay if your in the Lake of the Ozarks area. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the grounds are kept clean and very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and up to date with any appliance you may need, and the area is quite and relaxing. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

The rooms are a little dated, but my understanding is that they are in the process of refurbishing them all. Nice sized suites. Walk in closet in the master, it's own bath with a small tub, and the guestroom has a full closet. The shower heads clean my armpits nicely, I have to bend over to get clean any higher, but I am used to that since I am tall. Overall, I like the place, but it's early in our stay.
