I really like this store when I want something different from the generic HEB stuff. Plus have lots of bowls and stuff and good tools for cooking.
Of course being a German American about 1/4 of the stuff I have no idea what it's for but that's part of the fun !.

Great market. First time being to a store that has fresh bamboo shoots. However, I can't come back since they sell fresh shark fins. I will not support this

    Great selection of Vietnamese products.
Very good prices, 1/2 of Seattle's prices.
    Friendly, helpful staff.

One of my favorite stores for grocery shopping. There are a lot of items you can't get anywhere else in the city.

Lots of products, I love that they even have dedicated aisles for different Asian countries so it is easier to find things. Love the variety of fishes available.

Largest Asian market in town, but a little harder to get to than the one I visit most often. I have been shopping at MT for ~20 years, since they were at their original location down next to Kim Phung. MT has the largest, best-stocked meat counter in town -- not just of Asian markets, but any grocery store. They also have an excellent seafood counter. The rest of the store is a wonderland of products whose labels I can't read. Someday I would love to know what's in all those cans, bottles and boxes.

Parking has never been a huge problem. The employees are all knowledgeable and very kind. I’ve never gotten the same exact thing twice here (simply because there are so many varieties of food, and different brands to try out) except for the durian. This is the closest place to my home that sells durian, and it has been beautiful every time. Always fresh produce there. The seafood has also been consistently good quality. They have a myriad of different Asian foods, cooking ingredients, and snacks. This has become one of my regular grocery stops!

Love this place @!!! There is nothing like it in Arkansas. We didn't have enough time to do it all, but we did good. We got 2 huge white peaches. Just ate one and ohhhh my goodness so so good.

Awesome Asian market - very clean and well-stocked. Excellent selection of fresh meat and seafood. Well worth the 20-minute drive from my house!

When first walk in your get the smell of fresh fish in the air. Took time to get use to but the food inside is all Eastern with small hints of western. From japanese food and umbrellas to Indonesia cookies and soup. Love it.

Love this place. If you are looking for hard to find Asian ingredients this is the place to go. Lots of variety and good quality. The only downside is sometimes it is difficult to match prices to products as they tend to be somewhat haphazardly stocked.

Great place to buy a wide range of Asian spices and sources.
There are however a wide range of tempting snacks and sweets on display around the store (no idea how much they cost); it would be really helpful if they could at least write the price on the boxes (just use a marker pen) as this would make life a lot easier.
Parking is no problem and there are a few good Vietnamese restaurants in the area

Great selection of sauces, vinegars, and noodles. Basically, come here for non-perishable, canned and boxed goods only. On Dec 19 2016 ALL of their produce was in sad, sad condition. To the point where I didn't even bother looking at their animal products. I was definitely disappointed. Everything was in last-call, shoulda-been-25%-value-pricing bc it was ready for a dumpster within days. I have never seen produce so sad for sale anywhere but here.

This place smells funky but they have a wide variety of food choices. I usually come here when I want sea weed, pocky (the almond kind), and Chinese sausage. They have a butcher and fish market as well and fairly cheap. There is a wide variety of Asian things here that my wife can attest to that she ate or drank growing up in a Korean household.

So if you are looking for Oriental things to use then I would definitely recommend here.

Oh btw pick up the Mochi ice cream. It will not disappoint.

This place is awesome. I went to buy some young Thai coconuts because they cost twice as much at a generic grocery store. I also got burdock root, which is hard to find. MT Supermarket has everything you'd find at your typical American grocery store except it's labeled differently and is way less expensive. They also have a huge assortment of more exotic items that can't be found other places (i.e. lychee fruit, jack fruit, enoki mushrooms, various flavors of soy sauce and ramen, rice paper). There is also a section for pots, pans, and cookware of many different materials and sizes.

My go-to place for Asian produce. Has a wide variety of goods at cheap prices, and you can usually get pretty fresh vegetables for your Asian food cooking purposes easily. Beware of the expiration dates, however. Don't just pick up a bottle of soy sauce or rice vinegar and run with it. They still sell products that have expired, and usually put them in the front so that unaware customers can clear their old stock again. If you don't want your sauces expired or nearly expired, reach for the ones in the back of the shelves. The freshest ones are always back there.

What a great supermarket! I don't cook Asian food at home but I was just blown away by the variety and quantity of products. This is definitely a go-to for specialty items you just can't find anywhere else in Austin. The prices are low and I love their tea and housewares section. It's also just fun walking around and seeing everything they carry.
