One of the few places I’ll get my car serviced at! Great customer service
Thank you for the excellent customer service at your auto center! I am very appreciative for having my car serviced so quickly even though it was busy.
I love this place. Len and the team have always gone above and beyond when servicing my car over the past year and a half. I trust them completely, and they’re currently inspecting my next car before I pull the trigger with the purchase.
Pricing is fair and the service is stellar. Definitely recommend.
German Auto Center does a fine job! They truly do specialize in German vehicles and don't just use it as a slogan. Fast and efficient service. Great communication. Reasonable, realistic and transparent service charges. I would definitely recommend.
I am from out of state, but as soon as I walked in, Karli greeted me warmly, she was kind and professional & answered all my questions sincerely.
The oil service was quick and easy! Chris, the general manager, was courteous and professional when I came to pickup my car and they gave me a reasonable, fair price on the oil change and safety inspection! I walked into the store feeling confident about the service these folks offered and felt even better walking out with a fresh oil change and service on my vehicle! You will never feel pressured and when you walk into their shop, you have a feeling of friendliness and welcoming vibe. Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely be back.
German Auto Center, has been awesome with customer service, and mechanical service, as well. They are honest, and they spend extra time explaining what part(s) have failed. I would highly recommend German Auto Center.
These folks took a really bad, mind-boggling situation with my car and made it into a problem solving session. As soon as I moved my car from a dealership that was treating me poorly to German Auto, I felt relieved that it was in their care. They kept me updated throughout the whole process, treated me like a German-engineered car afficionado who wants to learn more and not just "a girl" or a "consumer", and gave me a very fair price for the parts and labor involved. I am happy to pay for the excellent work, customer service, and care that was taken with my car. They even washed it as I know it went in horribly dirty and I almost didn't recognize it when I picked it up, it was so clean. The people that are employed at German Auto are clearly passionate about their work and the cars they work on. From now on I will be bringing my car here for any service needs and never take my car back to the dealership, that is for sure! Thanks everyone!
The only place I'm taking my BMW.
Recently took my 2003 BMW 330ci to GAC for some long needed maintenance. I recently decided to keep the car and beef it up so I wanted to establish a relationship with a shop here in town that could do the maintenance work and performance work later.
I worked directly with the owner, Len, over the phone and email. He was timely in his response and cautious in his advice regarding performance upgrades. His intention is not to "sell sell sell" but to make sure that the car does what his customer's are asking for.
My experience with Len, Webster, and Bobbi at German Auto Center was flawless. Dropped the car off for a couple of days, got it back, and it's like driving a new vehicle. The cost was a bit over the estimate, but that's why they call it an estimate and was well within my budget. We're talking about German cars, folks. While German engineering may be synonymous with perfection, it certainly isn't known for being cheap. People that complain about 2 or 3 hundred dollars higher than an estimate on a BMW/Porsche/Mercedes need a reality check.
My main takeaway from the experience is that this isn't a just job for the people that work there. This is their passion and they happen to have the good fortune to make a living involved with something they love and that motivates them to get up in the morning. That reason alone will keep me coming back for upgrades and maintenance.
Highly recommend! The dealership tried to pull a fast one Thank goodness I didn't trust them & took my car to German Auto Center They were honest & fixed my car for $1000 less (because they didn't try to sell me a specialty part I didn't need).
I had already been to dealer for quote but what the dealer said needed replacing was different - they showed me the old parts and explained the issue and what repairs were needed. They kept me informed throughout the day and finished repairs the same day. Highly recommend German Auto Center!
This place does a fair job for regular maintenance (oil and filter). For repairs, it is better to get them done in a dealer than here because the prices are similar using the same OEM parts, but the dealer offers car rentals and other perks.
Update 7/6/2017
I had to take my Mercedes back because the service warning remained. It turned out that it wasn't done, although it was requested; they should do (even if not requested after seeing a service warning) plus other repair items for a total bill of $1,400. The service was checked off with an additional charge. In a related note to a separate maintenance service on Porsche, the warning message for both windshield wash and coolant fluid (very low) came on after a few weeks. I thought this place could be used as an alternative for services at a dealer, but the experience was "not recommended".
My BMW 330CI still has the check engine light on. They told me they swapped the cables. It cost me about 8 hundred dollars and 4 months later the Check engine came back on. I went to Autozone ran a test. It was failing for the same issue. They didn't really fix the problem just made it go away for a few months. When I called back and told them about it they didn't want to fix it again.
The staff is always friendly and the services are always completed in a timely manner. They always do a good job explaining the details on services and what maintenance is required.
I had my car towed here after it broke down on Mopac. Their staff was extremely helpful, responsive, and professional. They did a great job fixing my car up and charged me a very fair price. The team called me daily to give me updates. I've dealt with many shops and this one provided the best experience. recommend.
Only a phone call. Gentleman was polite during conversation & i have no complaint about customer service.
However, I dont understand why they couldnt work on my vehicle because of their software. I have no CEL & therefore no need for a diagnostic of my engine. 2 other Mercedes mechanics will work on my vehicle however one is overpriced & one has a long wait. I need the hardware & knowledge to work on my vehicle.
I drive a 05 Chrylser Crossfire Ltd coupe, which is the same chassis as S class & the MB 112 engine. The only thing about my vehicle that is Chrysler is the badging & frame, the car was built in Karmann Germany. Same plant a lot of MB roll off of.
This is where I have/will take my car every single time. Auto repair for German cars can be ridiculously expensive other places, but here I know that I am getting a fair price and I know that my car is being taken care of. The service and the smile on every single employee's face is enough to make we want to come here, the reasonable pricing is a bonus.
