Happy hour for and drink deals are frequent and great. Don't go if it's not happy hour, but 5 - 11, 5 data a week, I love this place.
This is my favorite sushi restaurant in all of Phoenix!! The rolls are priced on the higher side, however, they are worth every dollar spent. They have creative ideas for the rolls. My personal favorite is the sunshine. A beautifully made salmon roll with avocado topped with a small slice of lemon. Simple, yet, incredible. Their garlic edamame is out of this world, it's a must try. Be prepared the tables are smaller, but it's what I expect from a restaurant in the heart of Phoenix.
Good sushi. Good drinks. Great happy hour specials. My only complaint is I didn't really like the flavor of the squid salad.
If you have an hour to wait to have your order taken, another hour for your sushi to be served and yet another hour for your check to arrive then you've found the perfect spot.
(if there's more than three people there tack on another two hours wherever you like)
Live across the street and have been there 4 times with the same story (last night will be my last), this kind of wait for mediocre sushi? Much better options within walking distance.
Food is okay. Atmosphere is kinda cool. But terrible service. We waited literally 20 minutes after being given water for the waiter to come back to take our order. We attempted to get the waiter's attention multiple times but he actually kept his head down and wouldn't make eye contact with us. The restaurant was barely busy; we were 1 of 3 tables on the patio, with maybe 1 table being used inside. We eventually left and went to Angel's Trumpet. Go to Harumi sushi instead.
Best seppuku in the area once in a lifetime time experience. Ask for the kamakazi especial
Love this place. The chefs make the rolls super spicy if you ask nicely!
Sushi was really good. Parking sucks though. We will definitely go again and it's across the street from the Cobra bar.
Luv to take people here on the weekends. Cool spot to start a night downtown. I recommend any of the sushi rolls.
Delicious sushi! A little pricey and the inside of the restaurant is a bit loud, especially on the weekends. However, the fish is very fresh and they have a wonderful ambience.
The food is really good. The service is even better. You wouldn't be disappointed if you come.
I think they had the best crispy rice tuna I ever had. reasonable price for what u get.
Great sushi place, especially for a land-locked state. Good happy hour prices and delicious rolls. Recommended if you're staying downtown.
Never have a bad time here!! Even when I'm with people I hate. LOVE LOVE LOVE THE FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE.
It is about what you would except from a trendy sushi bar. Pop music, a dollar upcharge on most items and nice presentation. Unfortunately they didn't pass my albacore "judgement sushi" test.
The albacore sashimi was a little pricier than other places and was soaked in a pool of ponzu sauce which overwhelmed the tuna. The albacore was seared as it was prepared, which was neat, but I felt it left a taste of butane from the flame on the dish.
The quality of everything was good, the service was OK. It wasn't a stand out experience.
