This is in reply to the 1star review in hopes that you understand the grower's situation. I don't work for this orchard, neither do I know the owners personally. I do have many farmer and grower acquaintances. The reason why you saw more in the fridge is because they must be picked asap! Blueberries wait for no one. So, toward's the end of the season most growers will caution you of the 'slim pickings' in the orchards but they must clean the orchard and sell pre-picked otherwise they will lose their crop.

The freshest air, astounding views and all the blueberries you can eat, this IS blueberry heaven. Picked for an hour with daughter, Eva, came home with 9 quarts. Next best thing to having my own berry farm, which I had in Mississippi, only no bugs, no scorching heat and great smiling faces of the owners and employees!

Been there many timesusually good picking. Today 8/8 the bushes are nearly bare. My husband and I picked for 20 minutes to harvest just 1 cup. However, their fridge was full if we wanted to buy. Very disappointing.
