One of the best craft beer breweries in New England, lines can be long on special release days, but if you stop by on a regular day moves quickly
Love this place.. Probably the best brewery in terms of customer service.
Excellent beer, among the top beer in the world.
Decent beersa bit thick and rich in consistency. Distribution only and slightly surprising $5/beer, but mix-and-match an attractive option.
This may be my favorite brewery visit to date. I am from Brooklyn, and our brewery experience usually consists of cramped spaces and lines that are self-defeating in their length. Trillium was inexpensive, the line moved along just fine, and their beer is just amazing. I will be returning to the Boston area just to come back here. Seriously.
Great beers. You can only get bottles to go. But they are very fast and friendly
For those who love craft beers as Trillium's offerings are among the best in the World. So the Fort Point location is a "beer store" as some like to call it. May I suggest you go to their website before your visit and ask polite, intelligent questions so you don't come away disappointed. I always find the staff very friendly and helpful. Cheers!
Basically a tiny space selling cans and bottles of beer. Very claustrophobic when busy. As previous reviewers have noted, there is no tasting whatsoever available so if you don't know the difference between a double IPA and a saison then tough luck. I have been there twice and both times given a rude service. That said, if you are willing to put up with being treated like cattle and barked at by security to 'move along and away from the door' then the beers are enjoyable. Unable to taste before purchase I got lucky with my choices! For a far superior experience go to Lamplighter Brewery over in Cambridge. The staff are friendly, experienced and you can try flights of beer too.
Loved visiting the Trillium Beer Garden during our recent trip to Boston from California. Found it after walking to the brewery and then back to the Garden on the RK Greenway. We imbibed several pints of excellent beer and shared stories with many friendly and helpful locals.
No tasting whatsoever! Don't even ask bc that Boston attitude will come out from then. They aren't the friendliest but the beers are amazing! I'm from SD home of craft beers too. Our favorite SD brewery follows Trillium and I was in the area so my bf wanted me to pick some up. Flew it all the way back to SD!
Expensive but good. Easily spend $20 on 4 beers. Their IPA re where it's at!
Incredible beer and really friendly helpful staff. Amazing operation they have going. Can't wait for the Trillium Beer Garden this summer.
No tasting, only selling the beer. The beer itself was good. Tasted at a bar close by.
We drove 2 hours to purchase this beer. We literally walk in the door and a staff member looks at us and says rudely "line starts outside" it's busy in here" like we were stupid. There was definitely standing room available- but this was a guy was a prick. He should have stood outside and asked people not to open the door if he was going to be pissed about people opening the door to get in. Made me not even want to try this brewery. Hire people who help you sell your product instead of make you NOT want to purchase it. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth even before I had the chance to try it. It's called people skills.
