New location is great! Same good food and music vibe. Great place for apps and drinks at the bar. Awesome roof top.
Great chili lime wings, Cobb salad and Fuego burger! We will definitely be back! Nice laid back environment and friendly staff. Kid friendly.
Great place. Southern tavern feel. Pretty good bar food. They just changed locations and they have a great space, but are still figuring things out in it. So show some grace, but this is a Louisville staple and will be around for a long time. Great employees and owners. Fabulous small town bar.
Really cool feel to this little bar. Johnny Cash is everywhere here! Great food and drinks. Super cool atmosphere.
Great spot. Loved the rooftop bar. Great place to hangout for happy hour. Food is nice. Jalapeno poppers are no joke.
Love how the place is laid out, up and down. A lot of room for parties. Garage doors, that's the shitt that's the way to go to open up the sides for fresh air and to let people know that they're not enclosed and confined. And the history behind this place is awesome. And believe me Austin Texas is the number one place in America. It's where I used to live 40 minutes from their small town with my farm. That's why I going to that place brought back a little memories.
Great service on a Friday night. They have way too many waiters working yet food came so slowly. Burger was not hot enough. French fries didn't taste like freshly made. It was dry. Wings are averagerather go to RiNo for good food with similar price tag.
Amazing staff and amazing food, our waitress (I wish I could remember her name) was very attentive. The food was classic comfort food elevated. My significant other got mac and cheese and it was absolutely delicious I kept on trying to steal some. I ordered their street tacos with smoked pork and they were so very yummy. As my party and I were leaving we were "goodbye, have a nice day" by five staff members. I highly recommend Waterloo. It may be a small building with a very small kitchen but they can still pump out some amazing food!
Olivia was by far the best waitress of my life. Her recommendations were on point, and she was super fast getting us in and out, as we were on a time crunch. Keep up the good work Waterloo!
Tacos, tacos, tacos! My wife and I stumbled in here one night on a Saturday in December after most of sleepy Louisville had closed down. We figured it was just a bar and weren't expecting much from the food, but boy were we wrong. The vegetarian tacos were fantastic. They were very spicy (for those that don't like the heat), but were a little less so the next time we came in. I've also had the fish tacos since and they were great as well, and have I mentioned the tots?! :)
tl;dr: Take the fantastic food, add to that a great selection of local craft beers and cocktails, and you've got a great place for a night out. They also look to be moving to a bigger location (a few doors down) this summer - excited to check out the new space.
Potato Burger was delicious. I'm not a huge fan of live music while I'm eating, but if that's your thing then you'll love this. Unique and tasty.
The Waterloo is a great staple in the Louisville downtown area. Their cocktail selection and preparation is excellent, as is their selection of craft beers. I had an excellent burger while I was here, and the service was good.
Great service and fun place. Very efficient and food is excellent. The burger was good but could use a bit more beef flavor. Soups and sandwiches excellent. Prices reasonable. Lively atmosphere
