Loved this place. Their crab fried rice is amazing. The crab rangoons are exceptional. Service was great. I highly recommend making a reservation and get there early, because it can be tricky to find parking. There's a parking structure close by specifically for Lulu's. They will validate the parking at that parking structure when you spend more than $25.

First off, their crab Rangoon is the best I've ever had, and it pretty much ruined me for crab Rangoon anywhere else. An acceptable sacrifice.

Otherwise, I always get the Massaman Curry and never intend to get anything else because once I find something so perfect I see no reason to mess around with anything else, even if it might be just as wonderful.

That said, I've been told by my wife that they cook shrimp very nicely.

Do be careful parking as they don't own the lot that looks like it would be suited for them. Frankly, though, it's probably not a bad idea to park far away on purpose since you're probably going to overeat, at least just a little.

A Jewel of Kansas City’s Culinary Scene: Outstanding Food, Exceptional Service, Every Time. Since my first visit in 2004, Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop & Satay Bar has been my favorite restaurant. The food is always fresh, balanced, and delicious and I have never received anything but the most stellar service from the wait staff and managers. If you have not tried Lulu’s – I suggest doing so post haste! You have not truly lived until you have tried this restaurant.

11/25/2017 UPDATE: The recipe for the peanut sauce that comes with the spring rolls recently changed. For years, this peanut sauce was mildly spicy, thick, and creamy. I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants and it was hands down the BEST. However, this peanut sauce recently changed and now has the viscosity of expired milk. I think they watered down the recipe to save money and it kills the awesomeness of this sauce….

Service was really good. The peanut sauce tasted different than other Thai restaurants I've been to. It lacked flavor. The tofu on my pad thai had a strange texture (I've never experienced this before). The spicy-heat was spot on for what I asked for. Sad to say, I'm going to keep looking for a better spot.

Absolutely amazing! Great Pad Thai and Chicken Satay 😊 Wide variety of gluten free options and they were able to cater to my ginger allergy. To top it off they have a wonderful waitress and staff! I'm definitely coming here regularly now ❤

Really wanted to try this place but there was a wait. While waiting the flamboyant bartender argued with us because we received the wrong drink order. When we requested to speak to the manager the bartender wanted to keep chiming into the conversation instead of serving his other customers and allowing the manager to handle the situation One thing I noticed that made me uncomfortable is in a restaurant that was so busy there was a wait, I could not look around and find any other persons of color, and I was receiving bad service (things black people are forced to consider whether it's the root of the bad service or not) The manager admitted a lack of customer service was a continuous issue and offered to buy our meal. I was so upset I did not want to eat there any longer but told (Regina I believe) I would like to take her offer o another day when we could have a fresh experience When we attempted to go back we called ahead and was informed Regina was no longer there and they would not be honoring her offer No one I know will ever eat at this place as long as I have an opinion on it Work on customer service and a diversity in staff and I may consider in the far future.

Great location. And I certainly received great service during my visit. The food was interesting and tasty. I liked how they let you choose the spiciness of your food. Hard to go wrong with Lulu's

The banh mi with sausage was excellent. If you're use to thai hot, their hot is more of a medium. Still delicious with excellent flavors

Great Thai food! I had the Drunken Noodles with chicken (medium spicy) and it was not only delicious but the perfect amount of spice. Ordered a Thai tea as well and had no complaints there. Parking at the time was a mess as the only small dedicated parking lot was currently under construction and it will probably be that way for the next couple months or so.

I ordered the ginger chicken. The plate appeared to look delicious, but underneath the bed of vegetables, rice, and chicken was a large reservoir of sauce that was soaking the dish and drenching all the ingredients. I was able to work around the lake of sauce, but 1/3 or more of the plate was inedible to me. It's supposed to be a rice dish, not a soup. I explained this to the waitress, but she said, "Oh yeah, the ginger chicken can be a pretty saucy dish sometimes!" and then went on to charge me the full price. It would've been nice to talk to the manager on staff and make sure the dish was correct.

I haven't been here for a while, I can't imagine why! The pot stickers are so good! Super crispy outside & tender with lots of flavor inside. I tried the coconut prawns & without a doubt the best that I have ever had! The angel wing chicken wings were done to perfection. Fried bananas & coconut ice cream for an awesome experience! Thank you!! I definitely recommend this restaurant!.
