Good price and decent quality for where it is. Be aware, smoking is allowed in the lobby where the casino and restaurant are located. Hotel allows dogs. Property also offers $20 full hookups for RVs.

Clean. No Frills. I liked the Donkey.
The employees were very nice.
The front desk person let me use the landline to contact home because cell coverage is so bad. 45 minutes to Death Valley. Thumbs up overall.response / report this review -

Pulled into this place for a few nights when visiting Death Valley. The park is nice and level and all pull-throughs which is a plus. There is a pool there that looks nice and a hot tub but it was not heated so we could not go in, it was freezing. The laundry room they have in the hotel was terrible. It took three times in the dryer to get one load of laundry dry. The washers are also very small. Other than that the receptionist was nice and we were able to get our money back since we left one night early.

After reading some of the reviews, we were actually pleasantly surprised. Our room for the most part was clean, it didn't smell like smoke being a casino, and even the grounds were well cared for.
The rooms are a little bit more old fashioned in styling, and the beds are on the harder side, but I like it that way. I liked how our room had a sink on the inside and on the outside of the bathroom. There is a nice little pond outside full of ducks, and lots of little sculptures to look at. The restaurant on the main floor was very very good. I got the bacon Avacado burger and it was so good. The next morning I got bacon and eggs which comes with hashbrowns and toast, it was also perfect. One of the better restaurants I've been to in awhile-the prices weren't bad either. I added a photo of the menu.
I knew I wouldn't be right in the park, but I also spent a whole lot less, but it worked out great. I was close to a cheaper gas station (15 miles) and only 35-40 minutes from Furnace Creek in Death Valley.
Now the bad, the shower wasn't very clean, there was still hair on the floor and around the top edge was black with caked on dust. But that was the only dirty thing in the room. The worst part, and the reason for the 3 stars was the check-in. Their credit card machine was down so they copied all of the info down, I don't like that floating around. Then, when they gave us the room key I ran to the lobby restroom while my wife went to the room to check it out. She opened the door and saw some change sitting there, thinking they must not have cleaned it yet. The lights were off so she walked in a little further and noticed a suitcase Then a man laying in bed wanted to know what she was doing in his room. My wife was so embarrassed, and the front desk lady just laughed it off saying, "I can't believe this is the third time this has happened to me today!" We were pretty upset, but I can't imagine how the other guy was.
Because of that experience I give it a 2/5 but because the restaurant was good and everything else pretty clean it gets a 3/5.response / report this review -

The Longstreet Inn and Casino is a nice place to stop for a break during or after a visit to Death Valley. They have a coffee shop for a quick bite. You can buy souvenirs or do some shopping. The Casino is open and so is the bar. The Steak House is open two days a week I believe its Friday and Saterday. Nice to just look around lots to see.

This hotel isn't the fanciest but we felt like home there. The beds and pillows were soo comfy! The room was big and clean. The restaurant is decent enough. This hotel is the best choice if you're visiting Death Valley NP, 15min drive to the entrance. Highly recommended.

An oasis of modern amenities dressed up with genuine historic nevada flair. Our room, the pool, pond and grass were clean. The animals appeared quite content and well cared for. Holy, Herman the Cow is one of the best photo opportunities in the Amargosa Valley!

Long story short, we ran out of gas by this place. One of the super friendly front desk girls let us use her car to go get gas to fill up our car. The staff was amazing and a cool place to check out!! Highly recommended.

Nice room and the prime rib dinner was good. The only issue was staying on the 2nd floor. After getting off elevator, you had to walk down 14 steps to get to the level with the guest rooms.

Good park if you are going into Death Valley, however they have some management issues. For instance, ALL of the trash cans were full even in the hotel lobby area and the pool area. Also, there are amenities that are only offered on the weekends - like the restaurant.

Nice place to stay, when visiting Death Valley National Park. Lodging within the National Park is very expensive, so we decided to drive every morning into Death Valley and at night back to the hotel.
It was clean and it had a little shop downstairs. Did not try the restaurant, as we always came back too late at night and were too tired for such a late dinner.response / report this review -

Good place to stay for exploring Death Valley.
We stayed a couple of nights. Room was clean, a bit dated and somewhat to thin for comfort if your neighbors are not so considerate.
Good food and overall service though. They also do their best at creating an 'oasis' in the dessert which is nice to see. Would go back here.response / report this review -

Very convenient for Death Valley if not staying at Furnace Creek. Very little choice in the area. They don't appear to be exploiting. Restaurant good. Rooms clean an comfortable. Would choose to stay again.

Super dead inside. It was clean and quiet and almost entirely empty. Maybe three other people plus staff. There were some very friendly animals outside for petting and a scenic giant cow statue nearby. They also have a small lake. The whole thing is very photo friendly. Never gambled there but the food is tasty and about $11 per plate.

The location is the main advantage of the hotel. Close enough to death valley Ann's not too expensive.
Yet, for that amount you have a place to sleep and that's it. First time in the US I stay away a hotel without code machine, kettle, microwave our fridge.
There is a small store in the hotel which is helpful. Staff was friendly.response / report this review -

Hilarious inn/casino about 1 minute into Nevada. Stayed here 5 nights while visiting Death Valley and had great service from the staff. Only microwave is in the lobby store, which may be closed at random times as staff step out. Lobby smells like a casino. Walls are paper thin.

This place reminds me of the motel and bar in the movie 'From Dusk till Dawn'.That's not a bad thing by the way.It is in the middle of nowhere with almost nothing around and I simply loved this place.The rooms are humongous.The prices are very affordable.I was on a road trip with 3 buddies and we were attempting to see all of Death Valley in 2 days.Unfortunately we did not book ahead of time and so we did not get a place within Death Valley.All accommodations were fully booked.We had to wing it and ended up staying here.Its right at the border of Nevada and California about 30 miles from Death Valley.There is a 24 hour convenience store inside this place.There is a small casino too.Food in the only cafe is really very good.Try the fajitas.There is a coin operated laundry room as well which was very handy for us guys on a 3 week road trip.The scenery surrounding this place at dawn can be breathtaking.

Just outside the Death Valley Junction. We reached here at night, had dinner and a few drinks at the bar. The next day, took some pictures around the artificial pond behind it in the morning, had breakfast and checked out.
Good location, decent food. The walls were quite thin but did not have any problem at night with that.response / report this review
