I had my wedding here and the Log Haven staff made such an important day both stress free and phenomenal. Every time I needed something, an assistant was there to help me. The food was the best I have ever had at a wedding. The decor was gorgeous. Because my wedding was in December, the ceremony was performed in a tent extention that was so beautiful that you couldn't even tell it was a tent! Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. I would highly recommend Log Haven for a wedding.

This restaurant is stunning and gives you a great location in the canyon. This would be a great place to take people from out of town to see an amazing Utah gem. The food is worth the splurge!

This place gets 5 stars for the atmosphere, food and potential to meet a ghost. The grilled bison and Korean cauliflower stole the show. I had to dock one star for the weird service experience - I'm not sure if it was a quiet season and the waiters were just happy to see living, breathing people rather just the regular patrons with unfinished business in this realm, but they were entirely too involved in our party's conversations throughout the evening. "I couldn't help overhearing" only works like once over the course of 2 hours.

Great food and great service! This was my first time here, and we were celebrating my wife's birthday. The waiter was extremely helpful and kind, and the food was great. Thanks for a great night!

This really was an amazing place to get married at. They did an amazing job at ensuring we knew what to expect, were always upfront about costs and fees. The reason I cannot leave a 5 star review is that I didn't always feel like everyone there was on the same page. We mainly dealt with Faith, who was amazing, but sometimes we ended up getting confused by a response from another person at Log Haven that was contradictory. If you choose this venue for an event, just make sure you always talk to only one person and confirm, multiple times, that you truly understand all of the finer details.

My wife and I had our wedding here and the venue itself is beautiful but the service was not great. The servers were great but the actual experience with the wedding coordinator and assistant of the wedding coordinator fell short especially for what we paid. The coordinator gave no direction to the officiator and they were pretty strict, they kept turning down our music and I believe it was because they had a wedding going on right next to us and that wedding party got mad because we were in the way of their pictures and the coordinator did nothing about this. They also forgot to charge us for the Ceremony fee and pulled me aside during my wedding saying it needed to be taken care that day before we left luckily we got that sorted out. We also left the flowers on the arch longer then they liked and they took down the expensive flowers and shoved them in a trash bag. The wedding coordinator also did not fit in the bouquet toss or garter toss and for the toasts just handed off the microphone saying they would be speaking in a minute. If you are looking at a $7k-$10k wedding I would suggest somewhere with more direction and less strict but the venue itself in the canyon was beautiful.

Amazing food, great ambiance. Took my wife there for our anniversary. It was perfect and very romantic. I got the elk and the huckleberry bbq sauce was incredible. The meat was very tender. Service was impeccable and very friendly.

Many compliments to Margo and her wonderful team. The service was fabulous and the food was divine. Great to get out of the heat of the city and relax in such an elegant atmosphere. The live piano music was the finishing touch and I'm looking forward to returning soon.

I have been to Log Haven a few times since High School. Great location, nice atmosphere and the food is good. We attended a wedding at it was very nicely done inside the tented patio in the back. Had a number of little flying bugs inside the tent also. Perhaps a bug bomb would help keep the guests to just those on the list.

What a fine dining experience! Unbelievable ambience - one of the nicest settings I have ever dined in, anywhere. And the food was creative and delicious. I hope to return to Log Haven when in Utah next.

Everything served was absolutely delicious! The owners were in the day we went and are so kind. We had a good chat about the mushrooms. I'll always recommend this lovely spot!

I was really disappointed in the food. We have lived in Sun valley Idaho and the food there is amazing no matter where you go. Here they over cooked our steak then they brought another out and they tried to cook it so fast they charcoal the top and just doused it with since to cover it up. The risotto tasted like nothing, in fact i had to put the roasted red pepper hummus just to eat it. Not worth the money at all. You pay for the ambiance. We will not be returning anf in fact i told all my friends who wanted to try it to spend their money elsewhere.

I've read the reviews. Ive heard the stories. Now I'm here to share mine. I've been here only a handful of times. It is expensive.
I think the menu selection is actually great. It changes seasonally. Without hardly having the same thing on it.
The food is always good here in my experiences. The staff friendly, and courteous. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the landscape even more wondrous and beautiful. We come up to log haven as a treat. Took a date here on a Tuesday evening in January and had a fantastic experience! Log Haven is significantly more fancy than anywhere I can afford to regularly attend but I definitely plan on coming back! Everything was perfect, from the quiet drive up the canyon, the path illuminated by soft lights glowing in the snow, the romantic setting, the perfect food (server recommended the bison, and he was right! It was an incredible meal). Great coffee and dessert topped off an excellent evening. Suffice to say, she was impressed!
